Almost 3 weeks post op
Things are progressing well I think. Starting to finally see the swelling decrease and they are starting to drop. The tape finally came off in the shower today so I was relieved to see what my incision is looking like. Ladies, it has been a rollercoaster of emotions! I loved them, then didn’t and now I do again. They change so much from day 1 but it’s hard to tell when you are massaging every day and looking for differences. Yesterday I noticed they softened up quite a bit and that was a welcome change. Only advice I have so far is stay the course! Very happy so far and I know there is still a long way to go. So here are some pics of my progress...
Two weeks post-op and no regrets
I felt better much sooner than I thought I would. Right now there is still some burning and shooting pains but I am told it’s normal. Aside from “morning boob” the soreness is mostly gone. My doc advised me to massage about 8x a day and that seems to be helping with my healing. They are still high and firm to the touch so I am anxiously awaiting the drop and fluff. Bruising is mostly gone. In another week I will remove the tape and see my incisions here are some pics of my progress...
One week post op!
Love my results so far. Still have a while to go but so far everything is healing well. I only needed pain meds the afternoon of the surgery and the morning after. They are still a bit swollen and high (of course that is to be expected) Looking forward to the rest of this journey...
