I first discovered Girin Plastic Surgery through Instagram while researching breast augmentation in Korea.
I decided to choose Girin Plastic Surgery because my sister actually knew someone who went there recently who had a very positive experience. What really stood out to me was that they had 1 doctor who specialized in breast augmentations that performs all the breast augmentations at this clinic (Dr. Song Jae Yong).
The consultation process was very informative and communication was very easy as the consultant spoke English. Everyone at the clinic was very nice, which made me feel comfortable throughout the process.
I also felt confident in Girin because there seemed to be a lot of positive reviews when compared with other clinics I researched. I was quoted around 11k for the type of implants I was interested in.
My main goals were to have more fullness but for it to be natural still and after discussing these with the doctor, I felt that this procedure would best suit what I was looking for. I felt that the doctor understood what I was looking for and gave me realistic expectations about the procedure.
That gave me the confidence to proceed with the surgery.
I had my procedure in September 2026 and my recovery since the surgery has been better than expected. A lot of people online said the pain was very bad but I have been able to continue sightseeing in Korea right after my surgery.
During the first few days, I experienced swelling, tightness and some general discomfort which I was told to expect. Over the following days I noticed less swelling though movement was still limited.
At the moment, I am 1 week post-op, and I feel better and I am happy with how everything is progressing so far.
One thing I appreciated was the follow up care and support, which made the recovery process feel much less stressful.
