2 weeks post op
As of 2 weeks post op, I would never be able to tell they weren’t originally a part of my body! I had my 2 week post op appointment to have my stitches removed/some progress pictures taken and other than some residual “morning boob” swelling when I wake up that goes away shortly after, you’d never know! (It isn’t a visual swelling as much as they just feel swollen).
I’m still sleeping on my back with bed elevated and doing all the things I stated in my 1WPO update - read that post for more of my daily habits.
At 2WPO, I am picking up the pace with my walks but going to give it another week before I really start working out. I feel capable but am in such a good place and don’t want to overdo anything too soon even though my body feels totally fine to. I am fully back into my normal routine otherwise and have been feeling great.
I was amazed when I saw my progress pics that were taken at Dr.Joes - I’ve been looking at my boobs a lot obviously, but at 2WPO the swelling feels like it’s gone down all the way and they have dropped a bit more so when I saw that pic, they looked better than anything I had seen so far!!
I sat in my car in the parking lot of the office after the appointment to write an update on the Bustmob fb group - I couldn’t wait:
“pre op vs. 2 weeks post op. & YES I CRIED IN MY CAR AFTER SEEING THESE PICS currently still in the office parking lot typing this up haha!
5’2
110lbs
275cc left, 325cc right
Mentor mod+ silicone, under the muscle

Armpit (axillary) incision
Dr.Joe and his team are by far the nicest, most knowledgeable and talented humans I have met in a long time. I cannot thank him enough. And I am sad I won’t see the team again until 1 year post op - they feel like my friends if you are inspired to consult with Dr.Joe because of any of my posts - please show him a pic & let him know i sent ya - I just adore their team & wouldn’t hesitate to refer my girl friends/sister/etc. to him!”
Get the boobs!! And feel free to comment any questions you. I swear I’m in the wrong field - I love talking about this process so much

1 week post op
At this point, my boobs would be a little tender and swollen when I woke up but no pain. I sleep propped up on my back but would slide down a bit in the night. I am normally 100% a stomach sleeper but have had no trouble adjusting to back sleeping. I would recommend getting a nice cushion for behind your back, a neck pillow and putting a pillow under your knees.
2 weeks leading up to my surgery, I ensured I was working out daily, having protein shakes to supplement my diet and increasing my water intake/decreasing stress in order to help prepare my body for surgery. I cut out all alcohol during this time as well (never drank much time begin with). And haven’t had alcohol as of 2WPO.
Following surgery, I was continuing to take my bromelain and arnica I started taking pre op & I added back in my regular supplements. I started taking daily walks and continued my protein shakes as well as taking a greens supplement to help with inflammation. I took a good long nap each day and massage my breasts with my BioOil daily (avoiding my incisions until 3WPO) - I didn’t need a ton of time off, but I had 2 weeks off from my obligations and I sure enjoyed it.
I had help the day of surgery but starting about 18 hours post surgery, I was on my own and did just fine! Just make sure you write down when you took your meds so you don’t get confused later, especially since the first 24 hours or so can be a little groggy from the pain meds (depending on how you react - I knew that general anesthesia makes me a little groggy longer than most). I was off the prescription pain meds the evening of 1DPO. Off tylenol 4DPO. I was driving 3DPO.
As I described in the last post, I never had a heaviness/pressure on my chest. Never felt like my implants were heavy or foreign so I felt very comfortable returning to a normal routine very shortly after surgery. My range of motion in my arms was significantly greater immediately post op compared to many of the other Bustmob posters who had the crease incision.
I have no regrets! No boob greed as far as sizing, no regrets in the way I did things pre or post op & I wouldn’t consider choosing another incision site or profile even if I could go back. SO happy!!
Original post on Bustmob from 1WPO:

Best Experience of My Life!
I had breast augmentation surgery 2 weeks ago with Dr.Joe and it has been THE most amazing experience I could possibly imagine. Every. Single. Aspect. of this process has been delightful, easy, and painless.
Before discovering RealSelf, I had been posting all my updates on a Facebook page called Bustmob. I will take all my posts from FB and post them here - in hopes of helping even more people with their decision & hopefully encouraging you to see Dr.Joe - THE best.
Here is post #1 from 1 day post op:
One day post op! I felt amazing yesterday but definitely a tiny bit sore and quite swollen today. Still no pressure on my chest, just soreness. I had the transaxillary (armpit) incision so I am tender in that area as well as near my sternum and under boob area but no real pain. I plan to stop taking the prescription pain meds tonight (about 36 hours post op).
I had relatively significant asymmetry (see my before picture attached), originally was thinking of getting 300/350 (see 3D image which was not very accurate at all - ** this was not done by Dr.Joe and I used an app myself to do this) but I ultimately decided in mentor 275/325 mod + and am SO pleased so far.
Feel free to ask any questions. It feels amazing to know my biggest insecurity is gone. The constant thoughts of “oh gosh can they tell how asymmetrical I am” any time I put a suit, tank top or shirt is a thing of the past still so swollen but so happy they already seem to be dropping where they belong. I cannot believe I completely surpassed the "frankenboob" stage so far. I give 100% of the credit to my surgeon. Seriously so pleased.
