4 weeks post op

I feel great! My breasts are dropping, my range of motion is increasing, and I’m able to hike and going on longer walks. They are softer around the nipple. Looking forward to the drop and fluff.

Added pic of the recovery bra. Doctor and nurse loved it. They just suggested to loosen the bottom so it doesn’t push up on the boobs while the strap pushes down.

3 weeks post op

Range of motion continues to improve. Sensitivity and discomfort gets better every day. My boobs are dropping nicely and I found a surgical bra with a built in strap that helps ive a flatter look under clothes. I sleep with and wear the strap provided by the doctor when im not in public and will continue to do so until I sow the bra to my surgeon on the next appointment. The only weird thing is my right breast near the incision isn’t rounded. It might be from the mesh not sure. Planning to ask what that is at my next appointment as well as when I can side sleep again (I’m not well rests with back sleeping, what new exercises I can do, if it’s ok to massage yet, when I can have sex, and if I can hike.

Two weeks postop

I can’t believe how great I feel. Every day gets easier to move around my upper body. I’m still extremely limited and I’m doing so purposefully. I have the internal mesh which slows the process a bit. The mesh has to adhere and we can’t yet massage the breasts to help move down the implant. I wear the strap 24/7 except for showers. I just have to make sure I have enough in my wardrobe that covers the strap in the mean time! The breasts are dropping though. Because I also had a lift, the tissue is less giving. I go back for a follow up in 10 more days.

The hardest part is adjusting my diet because I am not burning as many calories as I was before the surgery. I was exercising 5-6 days a week. Right now I can walk from place to place but not as exercise. I feel good enough to but don’t want to ruin my surgical results.

Updated photos show scars healing and settling process. Looking forward to them settling (dropping and fluffing).
