Post Op Month 1

Time flew by so quick and now I’m exactly 1 month out! At this point it’s hard to remember my old self and I really adapted to my new breasts. I am still religiously living in my sports bra but I do opt out once in a while for a dinner outing or when I get checked up by Dr. Kim. I went in for my 3rd visit today and got cleared for cardio and he noticed my left breast a bit tighter than the right. I have this habit of squeezing my right boob more when I’m on the couch. I won’t be going into the office anymore for checkups but instead email Dr. Kim if I have questions or concerns with photos.

Post Op Day 18

I started experiencing the nerve regeneration pain while laying in bed last night! It’s like a slow zapping feeling with a tinge of a hot sensation. It can be a little unpleasant but I’m looking forward to getting all feeling back! My breasts are no longer high and tight but squishier so the massages are easier. I massage them whenever I’m sitting on the couch and I really go at it after showers. I just started on my Vitamin E yesterday and ecstatic to see if they soften the girls up even more. Having to take 2,000 mg of Vitamin E a day worries me a bit and I wonder if any of you ladies have the same concern. As for breast skin care I’m alternating between bio oil and Osea’s undaria algae body oil. So far I have yet to experience any itchiness because of it. I got my stitches/tape removed 8 days ago and was so happy about my scar reveal. I’ve had nastier scratches from my cat than the look of my incisions. It’s starting to get itchier with the scabbing and hard not to pick at it. Good news is that I can’t scratch it during my sleep since I put on 2 sports bra at night.

Post Op Day 7

Hi girls! It’s been exactly a week and I can’t believe how everything’s been so smooth! I have yet to experience the nerve pains and glad not to deal with that recovery stage just yet. The numbness starts from the areola down to my incisions. I’m due for a office visit in 3 days so I believe that’s when the tape comes off and I get to see my incisions. The tightness is manageable with a good body oil and I think necessary for skin elasticity. I have to keep reminding myself not to fall in love with the volume I have in my boobs right now because it’ll go down. I hope I get a D cup after the dropping and fluffing. Will I achieve that voluptuous look? I’ve been looking for a good underwire bra after I get the green light. Can you ladies please guide me to a good brand I can count on?
