3 weeks post op - stitches are out and steri strips off

Today was such a great day because I finally got my steri strips and stitches off. I honestly was so shocked when I saw my scars. I was expecting them to look so much worse but they look clean and healed up so nicely. Then they gave me a complimentary scar gel, a 20 minute infrared treatment and an ultrasound massage which was by far the best. I told them about an area on my right breast that had a small knot and sore. She massaged it and focused on that area and now I have no knot and no pain there. I really cannot say enough great things about Dr Trevisani and his staff. I truly had a great experience and I’m healing so well.

Forgot to include the images

I realize I forgot to include the images of the topical pain gel I have been using post op. It’s called Arnica gel, it’s all natural, and you can pick it up at any drug store like Walgreens or CVS.
Also here are my full stats:
Pre op size: 36A
Weight: 158lbs
Height: 5’ 1”
Age: 35
Kids: 3
-Breast implant size: 340cc silicone, smooth, responsive gel, extra full profile (Natrelle Inspira)
-bilateral breast augmentation inframammary incision
-under the muscle

9 days post op

So it’s been a little over a week since I had my breast implants put in. Today is the first day I am feeling 95% myself again. I have been pretty sore on the sides of my breasts into my armpits. Almost a burning sensation and a bit swollen. That’s mostly gone now and I am back at work full time (I work an office job) and use ice packs under my arms as needed during the day. The incision site is quite itchy. I still have my Steri stips over them and those will stay in place until my 3 week post op visit (7/20) when they will also remove my stitches. My PS said to wait 1 week but I took my first shower about 5 days post op. My steri strips have been coming off around the ends but are still in place covering my stitches. For topical pain/soreness and bruising management I have been using Arnica Gel and I love the stuff. It really helps with mild soreness and swelling. My PS gave me a small tube to try and now I’m hooked. I have provided a picture of what I’m using in case anyone would want to try it for their post op pain, you can pick it up at any drug store and even Walmart. It’s all natural and doesn’t feel sticky or smell bad. I have also provided updated pics of my breasts and how they are coming along. I’m very happy with my size as I didn’t want them to be to big. You can see a close up of my steri strips and how they are holding up. You can also see my right breast is sitting a bit higher than my left. That’s normal I hear. My right breast into my armpit has also been the most tight/sore. Anyways, I hope I have provided some helpful info for those of you thinking about getting a breast augmentation.
