Dr. Centeno — $7,000 and Still the Same Size
I chose Dr. Centeno after finding him on RealSelf and trusting the reviews, but my experience has been extremely disappointing.
My goal was very clear from the beginning: I wanted to go up at least one cup size. Instead, I ended up with what feels like the same size breasts I started with.
At about one month post-op, I can still comfortably wear my old 36C bras, some of them 5–10 years old. There has been no meaningful increase in size, just slight upper fullness and cleavage.
On the day of surgery, I expressed concern to the nurse that the implant size might be too small and asked about going bigger. I was told they do not change implant sizes the day of surgery. I trusted that guidance, and now I regret it.
What is most frustrating is being told afterward that I “had a voice” and should have stopped the procedure myself—despite the fact that I did raise concerns before surgery.
Implants do not grow. Healing does not add volume. If the implant size is too small, the final result will still be small—and that is exactly what I am experiencing.
For $7,000, I expected a noticeable difference in my body, not to still fit into my old bras and feel like I need padding to achieve the look I wanted.
If you are considering Dr. Centeno, I strongly recommend being extremely firm about your implant size and expectations, because in my experience, my concerns were not taken seriously.
