Dr. Amaka is a Fantastic Surgeon

Plastic (cosmetic) surgery is either a want or a need. Regardless of where you fall, it’s very a personal, often frightening, yet private leap of faith when deciding on who to entrust your canvas to. I get all of that and then some.

In my mid 50’s, after a lengthy weight loss journey, not being very kind to my body over the years and just plain looking rough, I started an exhausting search for surgeon to help me repair the damage I had done, make me feel good about myself and have the second half of my life be the best half. So, I’ll spare you all the research and interview details. You will only get the good stuff.

To my good, no GREAT fortune I met Dr. Amaka who was practicing about 3 hours from me at the time.

Fast forward through the initial prescreening, testing and so forth, the distance didn’t matter because she genuinely (seriously) gave validation, compassion and ease to the entire process.

Which brings me to this....mid way through my process she was afforded and accepted an offer to continue her practice in Nashville Tennessee. Being very happy for her also scared the heck out of me since I still had procedures to do. Yes, her colleagues in that office would’ve taken over without hesitation, however my comfort zone just couldn’t make room for that. My alternative was to go to her. That’s right.

I flew from Texas to Nashville to have Dr. Amaka complete my journey. I’m proud to say she did all of my procedures and I’d have it no other way.

Not only does she have the credentials, impeccable integrity, she has poise, skill and talent in her craft of surgery, patient care. She is kind, in tune with the dynamics of self esteem, the aging process and the many complicated layers that make up “us”.

It goes without saying 5stars just doesn’t feel like enough. You can’t/won’t go wrong seeing her for all your cosmetic surgery, fillers, mini facelift, removals, skincare regiments and treatments, nip, ticks and tune ups.

While absolutely nothing is a guarantee (except taxes and a pine box), she is as close as you can get.

I feel fortunate to know her, bold enough to call her friend respectful enough to know I am a far better person for knowing her.
