2 More myths Post Op.
After the first month, they felt really soft and settled. Now, two months later, I feel like I am a normal person with my own breast tissue and no implants. That's how normal they feel to me now. They still have that snoopy and they may always look like that because I do have saggy breast tissue and did not have a lift. I do not regret it, since what I have now is far better than what I had before... and if anything, they just look more real and natural this way. I can tell that they finally settled because now I can start to feel the bottom breast tissue touching the skin below. I'm going to try to make a conscious effort to wear bras more often. I don't want tasting sagging anymore LOL! But, all in all, I love them. I don't feel that they are gigantic anymore and I don't try to hide them in public like I did. It took some adjusting. Now, when people in public look, I am taking back because I've already forgotten how big they are. How else can I say this? They just feel like me and I feel normal and I feel good! I still have to buy more clothes to show them off. So far, the clothes I bought, I thought show them off, but my boyfriend was pointing out that I was not showing enough skin, just profile LOL! The first two weeks are annoying because you will be impatient and you just want them to settle and look good and then, a month or two later, you're pretty much forget that you have them. I sleep on my side and sometimes I roll over and lay on my stomach and don't have any problems. They just feel like they are my regular breast now! Yay! To all of the ladies who have a shape like me, very much a "Pear", get this done and make sure you go Large! I now have more of an hourglass figure and my butt actually looks petite in comparison to my now large upper frame. Now, when I go to the gym, I have great pleasure in building up the lower area more and more because I can afford to gain more below! :-)
1 Month Post Op
So happy! They still need to settle more (snoopy boobs), but have come a long way. I need to make a dr appt for my 1 month check up. Only soreness in my right chest muscle/shoulder connector (like a pulled muscle) and the nipple soreness/sensitivity has decreased to almost nil. I'm still hoping they drop, fluff and look more round in 2 months to a year from now. They feel soft, malleable and I finally accept them as mine :-)
2 weeks PO
Saw the doc for the first time since surgery a couple of days ago. Gave me the go-ahead to remove the steri-strips from my incisions. They are still high and slightly tight, but feeling more and more a part of me. My pecs are really sore under my armpits now...feels like when you tear a muscle. I'm so done with recovery and want them settled already... such a long process. Totally worth it though. My man is obsessed with them and posted a photo of me tanning on social media and I'm not particularly happy with the picture since they look deformed still. I bought a new sports bra and some cute going-out shirts I'll need to wear them without a bra!... I couldn't resist the cheap Target clothing while I was shopping there for a sports bra ;-) I online shopped for better bikini tops for when the ladies are the right, settled shape...can't wait! Can I do leg workouts yet? When can I do cardio again? I forgot to ask my PS. I'll need to call the office to see if they have a time frame to adhere to...otherwise, Internet and "RealSelf" research :-)
