Best Decision Yet...

I am a 45 year old mother of 4.....ages 15-22. Although I always wished for larger, fuller breasts in the past I never contemplated cosmetic surgery. We either didn't have the money or I felt it would be better spent on family needs. As my children aged and I felt more financially secure I began to look at my life from a new perspective. I realized that outside of my workouts (hiit, run, weights) I really do not do much for myself! My life revolved around family, work, friends, hell even the neighbors needs!! And this desperately needed to change.....as funny as it seems I started trying new small things like sleeping in on weekends, equally distributing chores, saying NO, sneaking off to Barnes and Noble to read and have dessert...lol....and eventually I even got my hair highlighted and tried botox! I started to feel like my outside was representing how I wanted to feel, and at times did feel, on the inside. With loving support from the best fiancee I could hope for I finally got up the nerve to have breast augmentation surgery. After breastfeeding 4 children and lifting weights regularly there wasn't much, if any volume left in my breasts. I really just wanted then to be fuller and match my hips/booty.....to be able to actually fit into clothes....to be less self concious....etc. It's not that I didn't love my body and appreciate that my breasts fed and gave sustenance to 4 lives...I just started to feel like all that work deserved a spruce up. And thank God that I just happened upon Dr. Roche and his lovely staff. I love their approach- everyone, including Dr. Roche make you feel comfortable. They are authentic and real- I actually felt right at home. It was an easy choice for me to choose them for my life enhancing surgery. It certainly says something when prior patients come back to work for and with the surgical team that performed their breast augmentation! Many of the women on staff also experienced cosmetic surgery, they are moms, work/family balance, etc. thus they are able to empathize with and better explain changes, what to expect, feelings, and all that your surgery encompasses. I am one month post op and I feel really good....I have been working out daily for 2 weeks. And initially I felt minor pain at best. Coming out of surgery felt like breast feeding engorgement....followed by soreness that's similar to a good upper body workout/stretch. That's literally all there was to it for me. The biggest shock was how high and firm your breasts are initially....but trust me, each day they drop a bit and start to soften up by week three. I love my new breasts and I am so grateful for Dr. Roche's expertise and his staff's understanding!!!
