3 months post-op
Today marks 3 months. I’ve almost completely healed. I still have numbness on the underside of both breasts. I sucks that I don’t have sensation but I still have 9 more months of healing to go. Hopefully, before my one year post-op I’ll be fully recovered. So, what does it feel like? Well, bc I’m so small and there’s not much tissue, when I squeeze my breasts I can feel the shape of the implants. I can feel the ripples but only when I bend over and stretch is it visible. So while they may not feel like real breasts to me, I still love them. I didn’t know how men would take to realizing they were fake, but I’ve received a lot of admiration. I realized that most men don’t care, they just like boobs whether it’s real or not. I cannot sleep comfortably on my chest like I used to. I have to sleep with a pillow underneath and a sports bra. Mostly, I sleep on my side now. Doctor said that bc my skin is so fair the scarring will be really pink for at least a year and then it will start to heal on its own. I’ve been using scar cream when I can remember, but I’m not too concerned.
4 weeks post-op
4 weeks post-op. I still can’t believe these are mine!! I’m in love.
There’s been some major improvements all around this week. Since my last appointment a week ago, I was told I could start sleeping on my side and that made a major difference in eliminating pain! Most of the pain was in my back and I can actually sleep the night through! I stopped sleeping with the heating pad on my back as well. My stomach pains have also lessened and I’m not taking as much of the medicine anymore. I can finally eat full meals again! My mental health had also improved since I started feeling better and eating more, and exercising again. It makes a difference!!Three days ago, I finally felt like my normal self again and I had a blast on my date! It’s nice to get back out there again.
My breasts are softening and becoming more flexible. The sensitivity is lessening and I’m starting to feel more sensation in my breasts. In other words, they’re starting to feel like normal breasts! It’s not painful massaging them anymore, although there’s still slight discomfort in my left breast but tolerable. I love how they look! Honesty, I never noticed how disproportionate my breasts looked before the surgery until I took a photo of them. You can look at them everyday in the mirror, but the moment you look at them in a photo, it’s totally different.
I’m updating with a new video and pics. I feel great and I’m loving that these new boobs give me more confidence, and curves that I never had before.

Week 3 post-op
Today marks 21 days since my surgery. This has been a rough road to recovery! I think everything that could possibly go wrong has. Within these last 3 weeks I went to the ER twice for depression, suicidal ideation, and pain management. I was told to alternate ibuprofen and Tylenol. Just as I thought I was beginning to feel better, the following day I awoke to the most intense back pain I’ve ever had, a level 10. It was crippling. The nausea returned and my stomach was burning as if I had swallowed fire. I feared I had an ulcer.
A week later, I finally went to see my Physician since it wouldn’t clear up, I couldn’t eat anything, and I was losing weight. I was told I had Acute Gastritis, which is an inflammation in the stomach lining. It’s what happens just before you get an ulcer. Again, I learned something new: after a surgery, your body can trigger an acid response, sometimes it’s from the anesthesia or just because your body is going through extreme stress from a major surgery itself, and an overproduction of acid can break down your stomach lining which means no NSAIDs unfortunately because they can contribute to the pain as they are digested directly through the stomach. So I’ll just have to continue icing for now until this goes away.
On top of all that, the weather here in San Diego has been boiling hot and humid. After a night out at a restaurant and a walk on the beach, I was itching so bad!! I couldn’t wait to get home. My entire breast area was covered in a huge rash!! I panicked and thought I was allergic to the implants, but when I googled it, I realized it was just a heat rash, common in areas with high heat and humidity, and if you’re wearing tight clothes to where your skin can’t sweat, you can break out in a rash. So, I had to ice again for an hour and sleep without my bra.
This morning, I had my 3rd week follow-up. Doc said the girls are healing well, but that I needed to be resting as much as possible because this surgery has taken a huge toll on me emotionally, mentally, and physically. Due to the extremity of the heat, he recommended I buy a wireless bra to wear during the day when I went out to prevent another rash, and then back into the sports bra when at home.
I went straight to Victoria’s Secret. I was going to hold off getting a bra for another 3 weeks since they are still dropping, but I’m not about to go against doctors orders. I was shocked when she sized me at a 32DD!! Are you sure?!! I thought I was about a C. Holy cow! It felt good to try on some bras. They fit so much more comfortable than that sports bra!
