Easy Surgery and Recovery Process
From the beginning of my interactions with the team; Nov 2023 booking in consult to attending appointments in person to booking surgery and having post op consultations, it was so easy and fully explained step by step what to expect verbally and on paper. The team;front desk, nursing, contracted facility (Cumberland clinic), to Dr Brown himself, everyone was nice and always greeting with welcoming smiles. Very informative and quick to follow up. I felt no disorganization or disconnect from the team. Nurse Melanie was easy to contact for any questions via email or call.
With regards to the actual surgery; so smooth. I arrived 7am to Cumberland clinic. Met with MD Brown, anesthesiologist, preop nurse Shirley. On the table and out by 8am. Woke up in the post op room with nurse Tracy 920am. After frequent vital checks. Education once more for post op home care, I was in my car after being escorted by the PCA in a wheelchair to meet my transportation driver by 1120am. Scarring and results were amazing, only required extra strength Tylenol for the 2-2.5 weeks post op. Returned to work after a 1week post op. I may not need to be back in the next 10+ years to do another surgery, but when I do, it will be with this team again!
