Thorough Consult, Polite but Cold Experience

To be clear, I had two consults with Dr Adrian Ooi sometime ago but he did not operate on me. The consultation was a fair experience but I chose to go with another low-key surgeon whose down-to-earth personality and patient bedside manners was more in sync with me. Now the details: The first consult was about 40 mins or so, he was not pushy, objective in his advice and thorough in going through the risks of the breast surgery I enquired about. I chose to have pictures taken for a visual simulation and thereafter, I did feel the slight impatience. Before I stepped out of the consultation room, he already stepped ahead of me to warmly call out to his next patient - that was super weird and a tad rude. Made further enquiries with his team, I didn't always get prompt and accurate information but figured I'd wait till next round in-person. For the second consult, I was annoyed having to wait so long even though I showed up on time for the consult. I understand a reasonable waiting is at times inevitable. The receptionist was cold and made no effort to explain the wait or manage time expectations. Dr Ooi showed me the visual options, took my questions, did not push for surgery but I left feeling a tad hurried and unwelcome. Which made me question if my surgery would also be rushed but it was a good discovery process for a benchmark before meeting my choice surgeon.
