I scheduled a consult with Dr. Mahoney and was very nervous. I've wanted my breasts done since I was 18, so for 20 years, and now was finally the time. Dr. Mahoney and her office staff were welcoming and put me at ease immediately. Dr. Mahoney answered every question I could possibly think of and then some, without me even having to ask. She listened to what I want and explained all my options.
I went from considering surgery to completely decided in one short meeting! I ended up leaving there with my surgery scheduled, wind immediately canceled the two other consults I had scheduled in the coming weeks.
I'm 100% confident in my choice, and can't wait! The only bummer, which isn't anything in her control is that I really wanted the IDEAL implant, but she said it wasn't an option right now due to it being back ordered but, that's ok.
The office staff, especially Erika, is amazing! I'm starting to second guessing the size I chose, so she squeezed me in for a last minute appointment before my pre-op. Erika told me she wanted me to be 100% sure, and found the time for me, which I'm so grateful for!

The more I look at before and afters and compare to my photos with sizers, the more I realize I definitely want bigger. Luckily they were able to fit me in for a quick appointment next week, because they won’t resize me at my pre-op on the 3rd. I’m also going to ask again about IDEAL, it’s one of the main reasons I went with her to begin with. I wasn’t able to get ahold of anyone at the office on Thursday or Friday last week so I called IDEAL to find out when they would be back in stock (to possibly push out my date if it wasn’t too far out) but IDEAL said they’re fully stocked in all sizes. She’s an IDEAL Premiere Surgeon so it shouldn’t be an issue, I hope! I REALLY had my heart set on IDEAL, mostly because of all Dr. Mahoney’s Q&A answers about them on this site! I’m so glad I got ahold of IDEAL because not hearing back from the surgeons office had me super anxious! I can’t wait for my appointment Tuesday to really pick my size! For reference, I’m 5’4”, 123lbs. BWD is 12.5-13cm. I don’t think 275cc is going to give me the look I want, but I trust Dr. Mahoney to work her magic and help me get to my goal! I feel like she really listens, and I’m confident she can get me to my ideal size (preferably with IDEALS!).

Did you get the ideals? I wish I could get them. My surgeon doesn't offer them. So I have to get allergen silicone. I've waited for years to get implants, so I'll take what I can get haha I'm also, 5'4 and 115lbs. My bwd 12.5 also! Yours look great! I'm looking to get 385! He said, if it fits ha he said, 365. So I'm pushing it, apparently.

I didn't end up with Ideals, she doesn't carry them anymore. She was a big cheerleader for them so something must have made her stop! It could be the recalls they've had the last few years, I'm not sure though. I ended up getting Mentor saline and LOVE them! 385 would look amazing!! Sometimes I wish I went a little bigger but I'm soo happy with them!! I think they look natural and I can finally fill out tops!! When is your surgery??

Wow!! I had no idea there were recalls! Thanks for telling me. Now i can sleep easier knowing I won’t get them. ha.
I don’t know when my surgery is. I’ll find out tomorrow, I imagine. It was supposed to be June 3. But my wbc count, for my blood work, xans back too high. It finally decreased over the weekend. So hopefully, they’ll give me a date. Yours look great! They fit you well.

Every interaction I have with Dr. Mahoney’s office is always so positive. Dr. Mahoney and and her staff always take the time to answer all my questions, which I know they’re probably tired of by now, I have constant questions and send way too many emails! But they are so patient and understanding. While this is routine for them, this is anything but routine for me, I’ve never had any kind of surgery before, and they really put my mind at ease and make me feel like it’s OK to do this for myself, and made me feel OK for second guessing my original size choice. They didn’t make me feel like I was wasting their time, they wanted to make sure I was 100% confident in my decision. I had my second and final resizing appointment yesterday and settled on 350cc mod+ saline. I feel so much more confident in my choice, and Dr Mahoney sat with me as long as I needed trying on sizers. I’m so excited, and I can’t believe this is really happening! One thing that really stuck with me- Dr. Mahoney is all about what will make ME happy, not anyone else. Due to COVID my husband isn’t allowed inside, and when I mentioned wishing he was there to help me pick a size, her answer was “but how does it feel on YOU? You are the one who will have this on your body, so your opinion is the only one that matters.” And she is 100% right. I’m going through this process for me, to make myself feel better about myself. While I do value my husband’s opinion, this is MY body, and it needs to be what I love for me, not what someone else likes for me. I have zero doubts, any hesitation or second guessing I had was gone. I have my pre-op on 5/3 and my surgery is 5/13 at 7:30am! 15 days can’t go by fast enough!!! Thank you Dr. Mahoney!!!!!!
Also, got the call from the surgery center, I’m scheduled for the first of the day! It’s getting close, and it’s getting real, yay!!!!
