Considered and Tasteful Surgeon

Less battered and cleavage shows promise! Recovery feels like a whole lot of stretching and zingers as nerves are forming. I welcome it because I definitely want sensation on my boobs. For anyone who has breastfed, this will be a piece of cake.

I’m still wearing the surgical bras at night. I might have forgotten myself and did a bit too much lifting with the groceries but so far the girls seem okay.

With plastic surgery, I think there is something else required other than great technical skills of cutting and stitching. Would it be called vision and taste? I don’t expect Dr Chia to agree putting in ginormous boobs had that been my request.
Dr Chia was able to answer all my questions (normally involving disastrous outcomes) and she was able to put me at ease with her reasons for recommending the size, type of placement and implant type. She considers everything so I’m not surprised that I am happy with the shape and size of my new 10 days old boobs. It is exactly right for my frame despite expecting a smaller pair! She listened to what I wanted to achieve with my boobs, immediately spotted my concerns of sag and droopy nipples (7 years of breastfeeding continuously tend to lengthen nipples) and gave me exactly what I needed. She helps you imagine your potential with 3D imaging.
The surgery was quick. A good anaesthetist is essential to the experience. Another art form. It should be light hearted. I woke up 1.5 hours later and was ready to go in 3 hours with nothing more than tightness in my chest and arms and a bag full of meds. Namely antibiotics, antacids, antioxidants, sleeping pills and painkillers. I stopped painkillers early and that was no problem. It was the sleeping pills that were essential!
The aftercare is excellent with the nurses within reach 24/7 and check ups a week after and then 2 weeks later. (And more down the road.) There’s good reason to be near your doctor for about a month post surgery. I had considered going overseas for a (much) cheaper fee but I’m glad I went with Dr Chia. I chose her after seeing another doctor who keeps getting mentioned.. and also getting recommendations from other doctors in the field. It would have been expensive going to every doctor just to see pictures of their work.
Just for stats. I went from a 70 half filled B to a 70D. It sounds huge but actually looks fine. I am 5’3 (161cm) and 119 lbs (54 kg). At this point of 10 dpo, I see more dropping action but still high around the top. Can’t wait for the girls to soften!
