I Had a Brilliant Experience!
Dr. Akhtar was an amazing surgeon and made my experience very enjoyable, I am over the moon with my results at 6-week post-op and can not wait to see the final result!
He made the effort to meet with me multiple times before the operation and ensured I was happy with the size, volume and shape of the implants that I decided to go ahead with. Dr. Akhtar prepared me for what to expect during surgery and the post-op care. I would 100% reccomend him :)
My recovery went very smoothly, I experienced tightness as expected and the only part of recovery which made me feel quite uneasy was the pain medication. I was taking codeine as prescribed however after a couple of days taking this I started to feel nauseous, dizzy and drowsy - I stopped taking this medication when I felt this way and stuck to paracetamol and ibuprofen which eased my pain just as well in the later days of recovery.
Again, I had a great experience with Dr. Akhtar and would reccomend for anybody looking to go ahead with breast augmentation.
