I recently travelled to Turkey for breast reduction surgery with implants and wanted to share my overall experience, which was very positive from start to finish.
Booking through Longevita was straightforward and easy. Communication was clear and timely throughout, and I was always kept informed about what the next step would be. Everything they promised to arrange was delivered exactly as expected. I booked a package that included the hotel, hospital stay, airport transfers, and surgery, and the entire process ran seamlessly. Now that my procedure is complete, my care has been smoothly handed over to the aftercare team, which gives me continued reassurance and support moving forward.
A huge part of my experience was shaped by my patient coordinator, Mert. From the moment I arrived, he supported me through every stage of the process. He met me for all appointments - including consultations with the anaesthetist, blood testing, and my pre-operative meeting with the surgeon. On the day of surgery, he checked me in, guided me through consent forms and documentation, and ensured everything ran smoothly. He was also there for my hospital discharge and accompanied me to my final check-up.
Mert was incredibly respectful and always treated me with dignity. His English was excellent, and he was personable, professional, and reassuring - especially during moments when I felt stressed. His communication was outstanding; he consistently messaged ahead of appointments with times, locations, helpful advice, and aftercare information. He built trust quickly, always made me feel comfortable asking questions, and ensured I never felt unsure about what was happening next. He is a real credit to Longevita, and his dedication played a significant role in making my journey so positive.
My surgeon, Professor Fuat, was also exceptional. From my first consultation, he was professional, kind, and gentle. He demonstrated extensive experience and expertise, listened carefully to my goals, and his recommendations were exactly right for me. He personally checked on me after surgery before going home and again the following morning before beginning his day, which showed genuine care and commitment. At my post-operative review, he was pleased with my results and provided clear, helpful guidance on healing and recovery. I felt safe, respected, and confident in his care throughout.
My hospital stay was equally positive. The environment was clean, calm, and comfortable, and I appreciated having a private room to recover in. The nurses were attentive, professional, and kind, managing my pain effectively and actively supporting my recovery. They ensured I was up and walking after surgery and accompanied me each time, which made me feel well looked after and supported.
