Now a month post-op

I’m a month post-op. I’ve started to notice these little holes/pimples on the incisions around my nipples. A couple have exploded on me, and leak puss and dry blood. I’ve started washing with ivory soap and was using aquaphor, however I have stopped using it because I have not noticed a difference in healing. I still have a big scab below my left nipple and I’m thinking about calling my surgeons office today to see if someone can check it out.
In terms of everything else, I’m much happier with them now, but I anticipate a revision in the future.

17 days post-op!

Still recovering! On another round of antibiotics- the redness has started to go down. I still have a little scabbing under the left areola, but am much happier with where it appears this is heading. It’s wild putting on clothing that didn’t look good prior to this and seeing how much better things fit.

Day 12

Yesterday I started getting a scary pain my left boob. It was much harder and more tender than the right one. When I went in to get the tape removed last week, the nurse had told me to keep an eye on the pinkness around my nipples, as well as my temperature. The pinkness has not seemed to go down very much, but I did notice a tear/hole in my stitching just under my left nipple. I got a call back from the nurse around 2 am last night, she said it didn’t sound like anything to be super worried about. I sent over photos that were reviewed by Dr. Cohen and his staff, and he prescribed another round of antibiotics. Will be checking in with them again in a few days. Fingers crossed whatever this is subsides.
