I'm feeling really hopeful and excited to watch them heal and settle over time

My boobs have always been a huge insecurity. As I got older, they became completely opposite of what I hoped for them. The phrase 'sisters not twins' doesn't even apply here. Adopted sisters, at best. Anyway, I really wanted this for myself, so I did it. My right breast was slightly big and droopy, the nipple pointed downward, while my left one was kind of pointy, perkier, and darted off to the left. The right was a full B cup, while the left was a small B. After researching different doctors, I decided on Dr. Cohen as his portfolio really speaks volumes of his understanding and consideration for folks looking for much more than just increased volume. During my pre-op appointment, I made an emphasis on the fact that I wanted to prioritize shape over volume. I realllllly wanted to avoid the stuffed/suspended-in-air look, and my goal was a full C, small D. The operation could not have been smoother. One minute I'm laying on the operating table waiting for the anesthesia to kick in, the next moment I'm coming to with two nurses by my side with water and saltines at the ready. I'm only one day post-op, but the percocet and Valium are really comin thru for ya gurl, which makes the pressure/soreness very manageable. The gals are lookin REAL wacky right now, but I'm feeling really hopeful and excited to watch them heal and settle over time :-)

Wanted to share my day to day updates. I started taking bromelain and arnica for the bruising and swelling, so hopefully that will help. They’re looking a little rowdy, but it’s very fun watching them transform!
