First day back at work and post-op appointment.
Wow what a day. Yesterday I felt so great and overdid it.
I woke up at 1:30am and never fell back asleep. The worst insomnia, I’m thinking from drinking wine that night?
Then I drove my car to get breakfast, and drove it into a curb and popped my tire! So had to deal with that (called roadside assistance) and they put my spare on.
Then I worked a half day from home, dropped my car off at the tire store and went to my post op appointment.
The appointment went great! He examined me, took photos and talked about how great they were! I told him I had a stabbing pain under my left breast and he said it’s probably the internal stitches yanking my breast muscles. He said he put a lot of extra stitches there to make sure I won’t ever bottom out.
We talked about how amaze we were that they were symmetrical now!!! I’ve always been super asymmetrical and I’ve been told by 3 surgeons that it could not be fixed. Including my current surgeon. He told me many times that i would still be lopsided. I understood, because the only way to make them the same would be to do a lift which I didn’t want or need.
But apparently during the surgery he found a way to cut and fix my muscles to make them symmetrical now and he was excited about that!
Then on my way home from getting my car from the tire store, some guy pulled out in front of me and I hit him :( thankfully it wasn’t that bad. Just some scratches on the car.
Anyways what a day. Cheers to trying to get some good sleep tonight.
