1 month photos
Here are my 1 month photos in the bra I had on in my before photo. As I mentioned right one still sitting high but working on it with massages. Just got scar gel to lighten up my underarm scars. Also working on stretching my arms a lot. My right arm still feels extremely tight and I can't stretch it straight upwards. I guess tendon or muscle is still very tight. Also get shooting pains in this arm more than the other one but working on yoga poses and stretching daily. Will post back after my check up in 2 months.
Week 2-4
Week 2 of healing went smoothly. I did have to go to work twice and yes walking more than usual caused them to swell every day. Left one was still larger than right with swelling. Week 3 things got a lot easier still massaging and going to the office more often but not so much swelling! Week 4 for the most part I forgot i even had the surgery done. They don't get swollen anymore but now the left one is completely normal looking and dropped beautifully and right is still high and hasn't dropped.. go figure the one that had the most issues is now perfect & the one with no issues has an issue now! Will keep massaging it until it falls into place. By this week my body is also tired of sleeping upright on my wedge pillow and I really just want to sleep on my sides. Only thing I notice now is if I stretch my arm outwards I sometimes feel the tendon or muscle tight. I've been around all my family and friends at this point in sweaters or shirts up to my neck so far no one can tell which is exactly what I wanted. When I wear a swim suit however they are full on display and we shall see if I can get away with no one asking. I haven't measured myself yet so not sure the size I ended up at. They are still pretty hard so hoping the massages soften them up more. Just did my 1 month check up yesterday and will post about that later with the pics. Overall love them! Can't wait to see them in a bra and swim suit!
Day 8
So they called me on day 6 to check up on me and to let me know my 1 week apt on day 7 would be cancelled. No surprise because most of the city didnt have power, water, and highways were closed. A nurse did call me back because I asked about the uneven swelling and she said it was completely normal. They rescheduled me 1 day later to go in the temp was good that day and power would be restored. I was able to drive on my own. I finally got my bandaids removed under my arms and they checked the incisions and they were healed perfectly. I can now wash my under arms and wear deodorant. I attached a pic because I couldn't find a lot on how the underarm incision would look. Hoping scar gel will lighten it but you also can't really tell it's a scar looks like where your skin naturally folds. I learned how to massage to help them drop. As of right now they are still pretty darn huge so hoping they go a little more down in size. I am now only taking 1/2 hydro if I feel pain at night. Not taking anything else. Pretty much still have a full bottle bc I was only doing halves.
