I Got Boobs! 420cc Armpit Incision

So I've been looking to do breast augmentation on and off but never went through with it bc the doctors never really talked to me. I researched again this year and found Dr. Young who had amazing reviews. My consultation was great and Dr. Young actually answered my questions and helped ease my anxiety about anesthesia.

I am a B cup and sizers I tried were 350-450 CC-end goal was a natural as possible look. I had my breast augmentation today! I was so nervous and had so much anxiety the pre-op part was probably the worst for me. I felt like a little stress ball. The anesthesiologist was also very warm towards me and I felt safe with them. I woke up talking about emails for work lol after it was over. The nurses moved me to the recovery room and stayed monitoring me the whole time. Overall just an awesome team! I took nausea medication 3 hrs before surgery and that helped tremendously. I didn't immediately feel pain probably because I had so much medication. I only felt a little dizzy so I definitely needed help walking.

So I got home and got comfy with a wedge pillow. I want hungry just really thirsty and hot tea definitely helped the sore throat I got. About 4 hrs later I started feeling the tightness and pressure and stinging on my armpits. I was very coherent after my friend taking care of me was very surprised. About 4 hrs later is also when I ate drank a shake and had some goldfish to take my pain meds. I started feeling nauseous off and on after I took the pain med and after the muscle spasm med.

So far feeling pretty good just extremely bloated and only occasional muscle spasm and stinging pain. Very excited to see the outcome! Posted before pics and current with wraps and markings.

Night of Surgery

meek2
Not sure if I mentioned but to give you all more of a timeliness I went for surgery Thursday at 9:30 & left by 1 pm. By 9 pm I think all the good drugs were wearing off because nausea hit me so hard! I took the nausea medication prob a little too late so I had on and off horrible nausea until midnight.  I took my 2nd dose of hydrocodone and also started feeling numbness and tingling in my jaw and swelling on the left side of my face which made me panic (I have anxiety *cue mini panic attack*). I called the Doctors office after hours and was connected to Dr. Young himself who said this was normal and calmed me down. He even said I could go to the office tomorrow morning if I was still concerned. To a person who has anxiety this really helped & i appreciate him answering my 10 pm panic call.  My fitbit said my oxygen levels were normal so that was another relief and something I kept checking. Since I didn't really like the way hydrocodone made me feel I think I might go down to a half or just Tylenol depending on my pain level in the morning.   Of course since I'm on the meds right now my pain level is really low to nonexistent.  I just feel the tightness and Soreness mostly when I get out of bed to standing. I did eat a piece of toast and a few goldfish cracked at midnight after my nausea passed. I also started peeing a ton around midnight-maybe peeing out the IV? Not sure i also drank a ton of water which is normal for me but I'm not use to peeing all night.  Other than this all is well

Day 2

meek2
I'm trying to be as detailed as possible because so many of these reviews helped me make my choice so I hope my experience can help others.   Morning after surgery I'm feeling good considering everything.  Pain is at a 3 only when I'm standing and walking. Just kind of dull pain i can ignore when lying down and chest feels heavy I would rate a 1 not very bad at all when lying down.   The doctors office called to check on me so nice considering my freak out last night. I told them I haven't taken the hydrocodone still scared & might just opt for Tylenol. They told me to do Tylenol during the day and try half a hydrocodone at night to help sleep.  I slept on and off last night what woke me up was the urge to pee-i guess still peeing out the IV? My throat still hurts a little from the anesthesia but I'm drinking hot tea to help. The muscle spasm medicine really helps bc I do feel those and I feel little air pockets on the sides of my body which they said would happen and go away on its own.  Very swollen ill take a pic this afternoon when I shower & still extremely bloated. They did warn I would get extremely bloated even all the way down to my vagina and I sure feel it. Even my fingers look swollen too me.   I had no more nausea today and drank a mocha banana smoothie with flax and chia seeds this morning with some pineapple pieces. So far the worst part in my opinion was the nausea from last night. Also I have to recommend a wedge pillow -It been so helpful for this and like I said I only feel pain when getting out of bed. I took a cat nap around noon before lunch and then slept like 5 hours from 1-6 pm. I didn't see any bruises when I showered so not taking arnica. My boobs look huge and swollen and kind of square to me but I know its because they are swollen.  I tried to take a pic of my armpit incision but it still has the bandaid on. I did need help showering but hv been able to use the RR on my own just needed assistance walking there the few hrs after surgery.  I'm feeling like I can do stuff on my own now with "t-rex" arms and I have plenty of prepared meal replacement shakes and cut up fruit so my friend will be leaving tonight at 9 pm.
