1 week Post Op!

Today marks exactly one week from my surgery : ) I am feeling pretty good. I am getting a little impatient tho as I felt like I would be able to do more, but that's because I think I'm superwoman and not because he told me I would be able to. Some positive healing changes I have noticed is I do have more rang of motion to my arms. The slightest movement before would cause me pain and spasming. I'm able to tolerate car rides more. Because of the lift, I'm not wrapped, so I felt like I would have to hold them underneath with my hand otherwise the bumps would really get to me. Same when I would just walk. I tried to drive yest and I turned around. I didnt feel like it was a good idea as I still couldn't really turn the wheel quick enough if I needed to and I had my son with me. I'm also able to open my house and car door on my own. Might sound like a small feat, but I wasnt able to a few days ago : ).
I now have a burning sensation everywhere. Esp my areolas, but I think it's from the lovely PA yest at my appt. Aggressively ripping the medipore tape off my skin. I'm so upset at her lack of compassion to the discomfort and even competence to know she could've used lotion to help with the adhesive. Even around my areolas, just ripping it off.
I did get to see them in the mirror before she taped me back up and all I can say is , Damn! They look good! Haha.
I go back June 3rd to see my surgeon who is so wonderful. I hope I get the ok to start wearing a bra, because they are heavy and I feel like I need support. I'm also feeling light a hunch back. What I've noticed with my implants is I'm not " boxy" at the top as I've noticed in other reviews which im happy about! I dont know if it's the implant he used, or his technique of implanting them, or if it's because he doesn't have me wrapped but I def like my shape! I'll try to update photos later. Even tho I'm getting antsy wanting to be able to do what I would on a regular basis, and the pain the PA has inflicted on me, I still have no regrets with my choice of surgeon and my surgery. I'm really looking forward to this summer feeling confident.
Oh! Side note. I've gained about 6 pounds since surgery! I knew there was no way in hell it was true weight since the first few days i didn't really eat, but my stomach def looks bloated. The PA said it's normal and will resolve around 2 weeks. It's from the fluids during surgery, although I'm shocked if they gave me more than a liter. But anyway, ill take her word for it. And make sure you take colace as the meds are constipating and def contributing to the bloat

Post of Day 2

I'm starting to feel a little better, but still having discomfort and pain esp with changing positions and sitting up. Luckily my husband is home and helping me. Inwas having a lot if pain to my sternum and side ribs. I noticed the bruising to the area post OP day 1, which explains my pain. I'm still loving them and my decision. I also like how the tops of my breasts aren't square. I noticed in some other reviewed the tops were squared in the high profile which made me nervous. Along with my augmentation and binelli lift, I did have liposuction to my armpit area where the chest meets my armpit. My plastic surgeon actually did that for free so that's not included in the price but would have been 1500$. I am holding on to some fluid. I'm very bloated and up about 6 pounds! Despite I haven't really had an appetite and basically eating toast and eggs. For healing, I have been taking 500mg of vit c a day along with a multivitamin. I follow up this Thursday and hope they remove some of the tape so I can see how my areolas look. I can also lift my arms better with less pain. Every day I'm getting better and I couldn't be more happy with my decision. I ordered some tops yesterday and I'm excited to try them on!
Oh, one last thing, because the meds really slow your GI system down constipation is likely. I've been taking solace to help. My surgeon is Dr. Z. He is in the Providence area and can be looked up under Body by Z.

Bilateral Binelli Lift with 450cc

Yesterday I had a bilateral binelli lift with high profile silicone implants. I went with 450 cc's. I was very nervous about the surgery esp as the week approached. But I am over the moon that I did it. I have been wanting breast implants for about 7 years now. I used to be a very full C, but after having 2 kids and breastfeeding both of them, my fun bags just deflated. I would work my chest thinking it would make them perkier but it only made it worse. Initially I had gone into my surgeon requesting a breast augmentation. After he examined my breasts, he felt I needed a binelli lift due to the loss of tissue and I did have a little bit of sagging.
Yesterday was my surgery day. It was quick, a little over an hour. I was in pain yesterday but not too bad. Today is post OP day one and I'm feeling more uncomfortable. I'm not really able to put pressure on anything with my arms because it causes pain. Example, I tried to put my wedding ring back on, but i cant without pain. I did have the implants under the muscle. So I assume that's why. He has me on quite a few meds to control the pain. Soma ( muscle relaxer), meloxicam ( nsaid), percocet, and gabapentin which both help with pain as well. Sleeping as I mentioned wasnt bad. You do have to sleep elevated so I bought a wedge pillow and I feel like it's been a godsend. I'm having discomfort to my sternum and even the top of my core. This am I noticed bruising which explains my pain. It's hard to sit up on my own so my husband has been helping me. I'm not wrapped like I've seen In other posts. I assume it's because of the binelli lift. They dont want any blood restriction to the nipples so they can heel. I'm excited to finally wear tank tops with confidence and a bathing suit!
