Three months
WORTH IT
Three months have passed. I'm officially healed. I can do almost everything without "feeling" the boobs or having discomfort. I can sleep on my stomach and pick up heavy items. Pushing something downwards still feels strange, and at the gym I suck at push ups. I can only go down a little bit, the sensation of the muscle squeezing the implant is just too weird. It doesn't matter if I have my knees down or not; it's unpleasant nevertheless. There was some scar tissue causing a pulling sensation on one side, but thankfully that has passed. I only felt it when doing abs.
I'm still happy with the appearance of my boobs. They have gotten a bit smaller, but I'm still measuring 32c. When I bend over without a bra, there's very visible rippling on the outer sides of the implants. While it isn't ideal, I'm not too upset about it, because its practically just my husband who will see this. Also the implants are very palpable especially in the lower pole. This came as no surprise, since I had little breast tissue to cover the implant.
I think the boobs have settled nicely and the end result is very natural, just like I wanted. I no longer spend hours obsessing over them and looking at them in the mirror (lol) but rather they have become a part of me.

Before and after
Just had to throw this out there. Omg. Such a big difference. From sad, droopy boobs to perky, sexy and natural looking breasts!

Looks perfect :)
Thanks!!
Thank you so much for sharing your story. I’m 5’4 and 114 lbs and somewhat fit (but not as fit as you!). Have always been flat chested, 30a or 30aa without padding and underwire, and workout enough that I have dense boobs (what little I have of them) according to mammograms. I also want a natural look with a BA, so in my initial consult the PS recommended 175 ccs (with range from 150 to 200 max). My rib cage is narrow at 27.5” so anything larger I think will make me look too big for what I want. There really aren’t a lot of postings of BAs around 200 so your postings have been particularly helpful so thank you for sharing! Congrats, you look fantastic!
Sounds like you have found a doctor that understands what your goal is! Glad to hear you've found my posts helpful. Best of luck on your journey!
they look great! I’ve been following your journey from the start! I’m built similar to you, my BWD is 10 even so I got mentor 175CC. I’m 6 days post op and dying to get back to the gym! when you stared walking, did you do long walks?
Congratulations for your operation! I started taking longer walks after 2 weeks. Before that I just walked short distances and very slowly because each step hurt or felt uncomfortable. It felt so luxurious to go for a long walk at 2 weeks! Haha. Normally I find it very boring. But time really flew by! Each week you can do a bit more. Good luck with everything!!
You look great! ;)
I have similar stats to yours and even similar nipple shape as you before BA, so your pictures really help me envision how my breasts might look after BA. Did you go with a round or anatomical shape? Also, are your nipples finally pointing up and away instead of down? Do your implants still need to settle more or are they done settling at this point? Sorry for all the questions.
mine are round. the nipples are now pointing forward and look normal. my doctor said it takes over 3 months for the final result but I think they look perfectly fine already. they have dropped a bit and they are not feeling tight anymore. good luck on your journey!!
I’m SO excited to find your post!! I have been so worried about getting 225cc and it looking too small, but they look amazing on you!! Yayy. first time I’ve felt confident about the size choice! I’m 5’6” and 105lbs, with 27” around band, and 10bwd, so my dr said 205-225cc would be enough. I have been so worried that they would be too small and I’d have boob greed, but if mine look even close to your size, I’d be ecstatic!
oh, so happy to hear that you found it helpful! you are a bit taller than me but very slender, so I think your results with this size would be somewhat similar (assuming you also don’t have a lot of natural breast tissue). I really like this size: very natural and modest if I want, but with the right bra I can rock an awesome cleavage! haha. best of luck!!
i am thin, but I have some tissue already- the fuller side of an A. I am totally sure about a 230cc, it’s just that back and forth question leading up to surgery- will I be happy at a full B. my PS says that 230cc is not a C. I think you mentioned a C cup bra now? is that in a certain brand?
Yes I ended up a 32c with this size implant! I have various brand bras, including VS, and it's all the same. Does your PS think one size up would be out of the question?
no, I’m going back for my third visit May 18th! lol! she said she didn’t go bigger bc when I tried on the 230cc sizer I felt huge!! the problem is it felt huge because I’m not used to it! I feel like if I wore the implant around for 5 days it wouldn’t feel so big anymore. I’m also worried bc I like the 230cc size, but you lose some going under muscle- did you feel you lost a lot going under compared to when you tried on the size?
To me as well the sizers felt enourmously big! But it's just because they're awkwardly popped against your chest and are not under the skin and muscle. If you try the sizers on with a very tight sports bra with no padding, you'll get a pretty good idea of the actual size!

8 weeks
Life is back to normal!! I can pick up my kids with no discomfort, I'm back to working out and wearing whichever kind of bra I want. I haven't attempted any push ups or lifted heavy weights at the gym, but everything else feels just fine. Mountain climbers, planks etc that put my body weight on to my arms feel just like before surgery.
I met with the doctor for a follow-up and he was very pleased with the results, as am I. He thought my scars are looking particularly good. I agree!
Overall I'm so happy I had the courage to go through with this. It was so worth it. This has been such a confidence boost for me. And I'm grateful my recovery went to smoothly and that the end result is what I was hoping for. Wishing best of luck to all of you ladies out there!
