WORTH IT
This is a well seasoned review. I got my breast aug with Dr. Greenwald 5 years ago, 5 years later my boobs still look great and I am still grateful for Dr. Greenwald and the confidence this breast augmentation gave me. He is sweet, caring and skilled at what he does. I will relay what I remember.
My consultation went great, I went in knowing what size cup I wanted, what profile I wanted, and had inspo pics. Dr Greenwald really listened, answered all my questions and gave me his thoughts. He suggested B cup to me but I really knew I wouldn’t be happy unless I was a C cup so I stated that. He told me he would do his best.
Fast forward to post op. I’ll be honest, it was not the funnest experience for me personally. I woke up non stop vomiting from anesthesia (my boyfriend drove me to the nearest ER because I was in 10/10 pain). The docs at the ER were not helpful when I told them my chest felt like an elephant sat on it they just told me unfortunately this pain is normal and comes with this kind of surgery. Anyways, they gave me fluids since I threw up so much, it was not anything like an emergency, basically I found out I was sensitive to anesthesia despite receiving the correct amount of anesthesia in surgery. The next day Dr. Greenwald personally came to see that I was doing well, he even delivered me get well soon flowers and card! I swear he’s the best! Don’t be jealous, he’s so sweet to everyone.
The rest of my recovery wasn’t so great either- I found out I was allergic to steri strips, I had mondor’s cord. Both of these were transient and Dr. Greenwald gave me treatments for them & went away with time. I made sure to do my massages diligently according to instructions. Not working out was tough but I went on walks.
My scars healed great, they’re super small and barely noticeable though they’ve migrated up a bit. I took great care I took arnica, used scarring sheets/gel, and pro tip when fully recovered I used chemical peels over them to fade the scars.
My boobs are still looking great though my left breast sits slightly lower than my right. That was how my boobs were before surgery, my left lower than right but it is not noticeable to the point I’m going for a revision. I may get one later down the line because of age but I’m still happy with them now. If you’ve been thinking about getting a breast aug with Dr. Greenwald do it :)
