The Only Consultation I Had and The Only Surgeon I Trust
WORTH IT
Dr. Rahban was the only surgeon I consulted with, and the only one I will ever trust for any cosmetic procedure.
When I was thinking about getting my breast augmentation, the three most important considerations I made were (1) scar quality, (2) loss of nipple sensitivity, and of course (3) natural breast shape. When searching for surgeons, most of the work I saw featured large unnatural breasts in the 350-450 cc range. I knew that with my small frame (5'1) and little breast tissue (A cup), this type of look was not feasible. Though some women love the look of large breasts, I wanted something that still looked like me, just enhanced. I didn't need my boobs to be the focal point of my body, but I wanted them to accentuate my curves and flow with my body.
I found Dr. Rahban's site and read about his philosophy. I discovered that not only does he specialize in natural breasts, but he won't even give women a shape that would not fit their frame. Because of this, you won't loose sensitivity in your nipples, and you also won't be hypersensitive. I also appreciated that he doesn't have a surgical tech suture you, but he does the sutures himself. He ticked all of my boxes, and when I had my consultation, he assured me even more. He uses anesthesiologists he trusts with his own family, and ensures that they are also board certified. When talking about implant size, we met eye to eye from photos I showed him, and he didn't just have me try on implants in a sports bra.
Post op - I didn't need to use any pain killers. My breasts felt sore, but I wasn't in much pain. The only hard part was making sure not to use my pec muscles for daily activities. I believe part of the reason why I didn't need pain killers was because the implant Dr. Rahban chose wasn't too large for my chest. He gave me 265cc, high profile. My breasts are so beautiful and I couldn't say enough positive things about this entire experience. I also still have nipple sensitivity, and my boobs fill out my clothes and swim suits so perfectly.
