Starting the review process just in case I want to be more thorough later :)

So far, I've loved everything about Heartland Plastic and Hand Surgery in Cape! The office is super clean and neat, they are extremely transparent about pricing and the procedures available, and everybody is so nice and helpful! I found Dr. Deisher here on RealSelf and knew immediately that he was who I wanted to go with. I had seen his and Dr. Humphrey's Before and After pictures on their website and was absolutely blown away.

I attended Dr. Deisher's Breast and Belly Seminar on February 24th after doing lots and lots of research on Breast Augmentation surgery in general. The seminar was very helpful after doing my own research and reading reviews and comments from others on sites like RealSelf. Dr. Deisher was very thorough in describing the procedure and the expectations before and after surgery.

The following week I had my consultation (March 5th). I had some wish pics saved just in case, but I didn't end up needing them. I first met with the Cosmetic Consultant, Anna. She was very warm and friendly and made the whole process very easy (even though I was very nervous!). She asked me what my ideal size would be. I answered that I'd like to go from an A cup to a "large" C cup. She gave her input that she thought a D cup would be best with my build and weight, but said that we'd see. We then took lots of pictures and used the Vectra machine to take images of my breasts. The Vectra then showed the "ideal" size for my breasts which confirmed to her that a D cup would be best for me. I put on a front-latching bra and she had me try on different sizes of implants and projections. We started at a 520cc high profile silicone implant. At first, this felt too large and we went back and forth and tried on some lower projections and smaller sizes, but ultimately we ended up going back to the 520cc HP silicone.

Dr. Deisher then came in to ask a few questions and verify the sizing of the implants. He ran over some more expectations and asked if I had any questions. He was very friendly and concise and professional.

Anna then went over the payment breakdown with me and we booked my surgery and pre-op appointment! The whole process has been so seamless and stress-free. Will update with more details from my pre-op :)

Hello!! Back sharing again. Had my breast augmentation surgery yesterday. Everything went extremely smooth and as planned. I’ve attached images of my before and some photos I took last night on the day of surgery. Still very tight and sore but no pain so far! I have been staying on top of my meds though. Very excited for them to start settling :)
Yesterday was pretty rough, very tired and hungry and sore. Today I feel much better but still pretty sleepy! I’m able to get up and move around a lot easier today!
