I had my initial consultation 3 weeks ago and have been increasingly excited for the big day to come! Next week is my 2 week pre-op and I can hardly wait.
My Stats are:
5'4"
125 lbs
10cm BWD
33 years old
3 kids
I am looking to get 400cc cohesive silicone implants. I am adding some wish pictures (thank you RS) that I have given to my plastic surgeon.
I've been researching on this site for the last few months and I'm so thankful for all you ladies who have shared your journeys and stats, so much so that I wanted to contribute.

Congrats!!!! I've had two breast augmentations. First I had saline than I switched to silicone. It's not bad at all. Under the muscle is the only way to go. It will be tight at first but the skin stretches . I always recommend not going too large at first because my ladies are ten years old and starting to sag a bit and if you want to keep them perky late in life you will need to either get a lift (a large lollipop scar) or up the size of the implant to make it perkier again. Good luck you will do great

Thank you so much! I will definitely speak with my husband and surgeon about this concern. I will be going under the muscle as well since there really isn't any breast tissue to cover the implant.

I will be undergoing my 4th BA revision surgery this month and if I could give any advice it would be to go smaller. The larger you go the more potential issues in the future...rippling, bottoming out and back and shoulder pain. These outcomes are pretty much a guarantee with larger implants. I know how exciting it is going in for that first surgery, but if you go that large, it likely will lead to wanting or needing more surgery down the road. Consider a smaller, more natural enhancement. Most of the women I know that chose more conservatively still love their breasts years later. Once you go large, its more complicated to go smaller. I would highly recommend reading about peoples explant surgeries as well. It might give you some information that could help you make the most informed decision. I'm not trying to talk you out of anything, just want you to be aware of the potential downside. Wishing you all the best with your surgery, healing and outcome!

I called and spoke with my dr. She said 400cc is too large for me, I'm now looking at the 250-300 range. Thank you again!

Thanks! It's going so well. I was down the first 2 days but I feel really lucky with my recovery!! I put more detailed measurements in my reviews, my surgeon was also saying I was really small and that would be the max. Hope it can help you :)

Figured out the proper size range!!

I called my surgeon yesterday to ask her advice for my size range. I couldn't take not knowing her recommendation any longer, even though my pre-op is this coming Tuesday. She recommended the 250-300cc range! 300cc was my original gut feeling before I went into my initial consultation back in February. When I tried on the sizers they were SO wide on me it was like a giant uniboob, haha. The projection of the 400cc looked like what I wanted to go with but I knew it didn't make very much sense (where would all the extra volume go??). I'm so happy and relieved to know the range that will fit my petite frame. I will be adding before pictures soon.
Good luck to all you lovely ladies that are in this journey with me!!

Before Pictures

Here are my before pictures. My left chest wall/ribs stick out further than my right side. My PS said I have roughly 10cc of breast tissue on my right side, and 20cc on my left. I am really looking forward to having my surgery in 2 weeks! I have my pre-op tomorrow morning to finalize the details.
Best of luck on your journey!
