11 DAYS POST-OP

So it's been 11 days and I feel great! My new girlfriends are settling well. I am back to doing low-impact cardio and fully back to my daily activities.
Recovery was not as bad as I thought. Here's a breakdown:
Day 1 & 2: I honestly don't remember much. I don't take medicine so the pain meds had me either high or asleep. Mostly asleep! LOL! My best friend kept me on schedule with my pain meds and recovery vitamins.
Day 3: I stopped pain meds because I got tired of the way it made me feel. I used ice packs on and of all day and took vitamins that help support healing. When I say these vitamins actually worked, I am so serious!! My incisions healed so fast even my doctor was impressed with my progress. Anyhoo, I walked a lot on day 3. I was constipated so I took a laxative. After that ran it's course I started feeling a lot better. I took extra strength (OTC) Tylenol before bed. The pain seemed to get worse at night, kinda like when you have a cold. I drank a ton of water to try and flush the medication out of my system.
Day 4: I was able to do a bit more moving around, but the swelling was still there and there was a lot of pain. The sensation retuned in certain parts of my breasts but not all parts. It's weird. LOL!
Day 5: I started to feel like myself again. Each day got a little easier, but day 5 I noticed a huge difference in how I felt. I was able to return to my daily activities with no assistance at all.
Day 6: My post-op follow-up with my PS. He was impressed with my recovery and the how well my incisions healed. I drove myself to my appointment, went shopping, had a little lunch outing and came home. I was so pooped after that. I decided to actually take it easy and rest more than I was previous days because I could tell I was getting fatigued easily.
Day 7-8: I slept a lot.
Day 9: I started teleworking and catching upon email. My back started hurting and I noticed a slight difference in my posture as I was sitting at my desk. These boobs are heavy!! I mean 2lbs in your hand is a vast difference than 2 lbs in your chest.
Day 10 & 11: Right now I am just trying to get used to having breasts. My doc told me to wear a bra most of the day to support the formation of my crease. I am actually back to my pre-surgery weight which means I actually lost weight overall. I should be 2lbs heavier than normal, but I am a 3 lbs lighter.

Great experience from start to finish. I am 4 days post-op and I am happy with my results. My PS was attentive and honest and he went with what I felt comfortable with. I love the fact that my surgery was performed in a hospital and there was a team of at least 6 people there to care for me during the surgery. Once I got home I received multiple calls from my surgeon and his staff to ensure my recovery is going well.
