415cc Mentor Xtra HP Unders (32A-32D)

ORIGINAL POST

415cc Mentor Xtra HP (34A-34D)

WORTH IT$5,000
I have always been "waiting" on my figure to fill out, and it just never happened, so I decided to go ahead with a BA. I looked into local surgeons, and I narrowed it down to 2. I happened to have a friend who also got her BA done by Dr Kirbo, and she was very happy with his work. She had a very natural look, and that is so important to me. After meeting him and going over things, I decided to go with his office.
He mentioned how I have a petite frame and very little tissue to begin with, so the new Mentor xtra line would really help to give me the look I was after. I had talked all about how my main concern was a natural, full look, that was proportionate to my size (5'5 110lb 34A-34AA).
At my pre-op I tried on SO MANY sizes. Going from absolutely nothing to instant size, made everything feel huge to me.
While I was doing research, everyone always advised trying on the sizes until you hit the point of "OMG I look ridiculous" and then you'll know your limit. Since I had a smaller diameter the ModPlus would only go up to 295/325, so the nurse suggested I try the HP 380 & 415. I tried the 450 and was mortified so I knew I was done going up. I also always see people wishing they had gone a little bigger, so I decided on the 415, even though the 380 was a bit more comfortable at the time.
I had my heart set on a ModPlus look, but was told that since I dont have any kids yet, breastfeeding would also help later on to soften the upper pole created by the HP - but still help keep that full look.
I got all of my recovery items set and ready to go, and now I just need to wait for next Thursday! Super excited to feel more womanly, and actually enjoy wearing swimsuits and dresses and lingerie and ALL the things.
I included a before pic, recovery items (plz ignore my clingy Dane), and my wish pic! I will check back in soon!

Omg I'm so excited for you!! 4 more days ahh! I just went to my first in-person consultation (after 1 virtual) and all of the sizes felt so dramatic on my chest too lol. My goal is also a nice natural size, but I think I get so overwhelmed thinking of how big 350-450CCs look on some people that I can't even imagine myself going that big. I'm considering 350CC, and I have to remind myself that everyone has a different body so certain CCs will look massive on some people and yet look small on others. Anyways, pardon my inner dialogue with myself LOL. This is all to say that I'm so excited for your journey and I'm sending you positive energy/vibes/high hopes as your surgery day approaches! :)

Thank you so much! I can totally relate to that inner dialogue! Haha. I had to have others remind me of what I wanted, and to let me know what looked proportionate or not because everything was so different in my eyes! Im sure it all depends on what you start with as well! I so appreciate the good vibes and support! I hope things go smoothly for you as well!

Those results vary based on bwd, skin elasticity, stats and anatomy.

Good luck! You're going to look great. I started out a similar size as you and got 355 cc moderate plus profile. They definitely seem big at first but you slowly get used to them. Just be prepared for the chest tightness the first week. Roll your shoulders back and stretch your arms behind your back while holding a towel or belt. It helps a lot!

Thank you for the tips!

I’m scheduled soon too, and I’ve been curious about helpful stretching!

A little over 2 days to go!

I picked up my prescriptions and have begun the cleaning process! I read how others mentioned a “nesting” stage, and I feel I’m more than there lol.
I unfortunately suffer from chronic UTI and have the beginnings of an episode going on. I’m trying everything to get rid of it naturally (since no meds the week before surgery) , but I’m so worried I’ll be stuck in recovery with a full blown UTI. That sounds awful. But I’m also worried being put on any medication could postpone the surgery and ruin all plans I’ve had to create with work and hubby’s schedule. Wish me luck on chugging water and drinking herbal teas...
The only thing left to do is get the call Wednesday to see what time they need me at the center! Thank you for all the helpful tips and positive vibes!

Be careful with herbal teas! Double check online to make sure it's safe to drink 2 weeks before or after surgery. My surgeon made me stop drinking matcha green tea 2 weeks before and after because it increases chances of bleeding or injury to the recovery.

Hello my fellow implant friend! We're only a day apart on our surgeries!!! Mine is the 9th :o) I'll be going smaller than you... looking for a full C. I'm 5'2", 106#, and tiny rib cage so will be going with Mentor HP, sub muscular, most likely in the 300cc range. I'm currently wearing a 32A but don't fill it out. Sigh... lol I already have twins (daughters) and not having anymore - I'm 51yo. I'll post my "pre" pics tomorrow. Looking forward to sharing and comparing our experiences!! Keep in touch and best wishes!!

Good luck! We will have to follow each other’s progress! My surgery date is the 9th as well, so it will be nice to have someone else with similar stats on the same journey! I’m excited to confidently fill out cute clothes! Sending good vibes!

That is TOO funny that we're on the same day! lol I go in at 6:30, surgery at 8:30 and should be home around 1:00. This doc keeps you there for a couple hours after surgery then I have an hour drive back home. What time is yours at? I've been getting my yard work and house work accomplished today so I can get one last work out in tomorrow then relax and enjoy the day. And yes, sending good vibes back at ya! :o)

I am prepping to go in now, I’m scheduled for 730. I’m lucky the office is only a few minutes from my house, but the roads in between are so bumpy that I’m worried it will be painful and feel much longer on the way home haha. Good luck today with yours as well!

Excited to see your results! I went 485cc. I’m super happy with my results but I think I could’ve gone slightly more modest. Lol. Good call on the size you’re choosing!

That’s my only concern! I went in thinking I’d be going with mod plus FOR SURE, but when he measured me I was too small/narrow for any significant size in that style. Thank you for the kind words!

Best of luck to you!! It’s such a stressful time—but you’ll be on the other side soon. :)

I wanted to let you know, I had a terrible UTI several months ago and three rounds of antibiotics couldn’t get rid of it. I got desperate and went to the Vitamin Shop and was actually crying to this poor woman who worked there, but she told me to use Oil Of Oregano and it worked so well!! There are scientific studies on it, so it’s not just hippie-woo woo stuff. It kills bacteria just like antibiotics but without the resistance or side effects, and it’s perfect for typical UTIs caused by ecoli bacteria. Anyway, it was a lifesaver for me. I took two drops twice a day for bad infections and it was gone within four days. Now if I feel one coming on, I’ll take two drops for a day or two and it goes away. Amazing! (Obviously check with your doctor, etc. :)

Thank you so much for the help and sweet words! I actually take oregano oil in a veggie capsule along with a Candida cleanse supplement to help get balance restored. I totally agree it’s a life saver, and I LOVE using it as opposed to antibiotics. That’s why I’m so confused why it isn’t helping much at this point :/
I’m starting to feel a little better, which is a good sign, but I can’t have anymore oil help since I’m so close to op day.

The same thing happened to me the day before my surgery. I don’t know if what just stress, but it did go away. Best of luck to you tomorrow!! It’s so exciting. I hope everything goes perfectly and you recover peacefully. :)

UPDATED FROM The Petite Brunette
1 day pre

Tomorrow morning at 730am

Well you guys, tomorrow is THE day. I called the office earlier this morning to see if I could take some pepto for a nervous stomach, and they said it was a hard no. My anxiety has really been putting me through it, and I just want to be on the other side at this point. Like I’ve mentioned before, I have known I wanted to do this for years and years, but now that it’s so close all I can think of are the “what if’s”.
I’m sure I’m not the only one, but it’s just adding to the stress of it all.
I got all of my house cleaning done, I’ve taken the Tylenol as directed throughout the day, I washed with my antimicrobial soap, and got my room all set up for easy recovery.....
I just hope I can get some solid sleep, since it will more than likely be a while before that’s possible again.
I’m posting some more before photos so I can look back and keep track of the progress!

Good morning!! I just got to the hospital and yes, I can relate to everything you have had running through your mind! Slept barely 4 hours last night and it’s still surreal I’m doing this. Good luck my friend and will catch up with you on the other side of transformed bodies! Hugs!

Good morning my friend!! My apologies or not writing before now. I did try literally 6 or 7 times yesterday and kept falling asleep and when I woke up, it was deleted. lol At any rate, here goes my events....

Went to the hospital and got all ready. Doc came in and marked me up and met with anesthisiologist .The the nurse gave my some IV meds. I remember still being in the pre-op waiting waiting bed and the next thing you know, I was out of surgery. Don't recall any of the journey trip to the OR at all, which is funny as I have had several surgeries and never had this happen.

I woke up felling pretty good aside from being incredibly thirsty and my through being a bit sore from being intubated. Came home and had lunch and relaxed with my daughter helping me. First night was't too bead. second evening a bit more tender but pretty manageable. Today I woke up feeling great aside from energy being zapped. Even trying to type this, I am falling a sleep. LOL

As for the surgery, turns out I have one breast that is bigger than the other and I never even noticed before. I was told this might become more evident after I heal up. Irocially, I only got 250cc one one side and 350cc on the other but I still look symmetrical and should be a nice C cup when all healed up. They look incredible and can't wait for them to heal. I'll post pics from today and if I took any right afterwords, I'll post them a well. Pain is pretty minimal today and have been able to raise my arms above my head and put any hair in a ponytail. Glad to hear all is going well for you too!!!!! BTW,,,How far are you form Colorado?

I’m so happy to hear from you! Things sound like they went as well as possible! That’s great! I’ll be updating with new pictures again here soon as well. I’m all the way in Florida, so a good bit away from Colorado! Are you having a “problem” boob that is giving you more trouble than the other? My right side seems to be a bit more stubborn, and I was curious if that’s common/normal. It’s nothing that isn’t manageable, but a bit annoying lol

My apologies for not being on here much this past week. Simply have been exhausted and yes, I have my left breast that is really sensitive on the side of it and underneath where the suture is. At my post op he applied derma bond to completely seal the edges as I had a horribly painful burning sensation on both but especially the left side after my first shower. Dermabond and steri strips did the trick! I'll post more and my pics on my "updates". Hope you are doing well!!!
