I cannot say enough good things about Dr.Riolo and her entire staff. From her receptionist, nurses and Dr.Riolo herself they have been nothing more than perfect. Everyone treated me with such warmth and kindness. I had my initial consultation with Dr.Riolo, took my measurement and tried on implants. My initial surgery was scheduled back in March but due to covid and surgery restrictions I was pushed out until June 25,2020. During the time I waited, I did a lot of research on my own as far as sizing and implant types. Initially I had planned to have 400-450cc high profile, but went back two additional times to retry on implants. My physicians office does have 3D imagining but felt that it wasn’t very realistic. Even being so indecisive on sizing and going back to try implants three times, her entire staff was always so willing to help and put my mind at ease. Today was my surgery date, everything went incredibly well. My pain level is minimal and completely tolerable. I’m just staying up on my pain medication, nausea medication and muscle relaxers. Swelling is pretty minimal as well. Overall I couldn’t be happier with the entire process and would recommend Dr. Riolo to anyone considering breast augmentation. I ended up getting 400cc silicone, moderate profile plus implants. My stats are 5’9” and 135lbs. Breast base width was 12.

I had my surgery on the 25th as well. I have 390cc mod profile saline filled to 420cc. Good luck and quick healing! :)

Best of luck on your recovery! I’ve been pleasantly surprised with how good I’m feeling.

Yes...me too. Hardly any pain today and minimal tightness. First night was the worst. Right now I'm just anxious for them to start looking more normal and not like franken-boobs. I'm not known for being patient. Haha!

Lol, I am not patient in the least! But after seeing so many girls recovery posts day to day, I feel like mine are looking really good. Hope you are feeling that way too ☺️

Your results are looking great, I hope you have a speedy recovery! My stats are pretty similar to yours and I have been eyeing high profile, around the same CCs as well. My surgery is scheduled for Aug 21st. I'm wondering what made you choose moderate plus profile over high profile?

Follow Dr. Daniel Barrett on Instagram. He primarily uses moderate profile plus and I loved his results. For me, the high profile I had concerns with a large space in my chest and not good cleavage. I was more interested in side boob and major cleavage. The projection with high profile and the constant push up bra look wasn’t exactly what I was looking for. With that said, having the moderate profile plus it still is giving me good cleavage but doesn’t scream fake. I wanted more of a wider look than a narrower look with the high profile. If u see the different implants in your doctors office you can see that the moderate profiles are much wider and felt that with my desire for full cleavage and side boob that it was a better fit for my aesthetic goals. I’ll post another update pic from today as well for reference. I’m now 6 days postop. I would say if your between sizes I would def size up. I love my results but feel like I could have gone at least 25ccs bigger. Again, not a big different between sizes but would have given me a little more fullness. Hope that helps and best of luck with your surgery. It is so exciting and well worth the wait. ❤️

Thanks so much for responding so quickly and thoroughly! I really appreciate it :) So glad to hear you are doing well and healing without any problems! I have been watching Dr. Barrett on IG and Youtube! He has some really informative videos up, and I've taken note of what he says regarding high profile implants and how they might lead to an increased risk of bottoming out later (which I would like to avoid at all costs). At my initial consultation the nurse recommended high profile, but I will be discussing moderate plus to my surgeon during my pre-op for sure. I love the amount of cleavage/side boob action you have right now, I think they're going to look just perfect after they've dropped and fluffed, but at the same time I don't mind the faker, push-up look that comes with high profile and going as big as possible... Thanks again for responding, I'll be following along for updates!

Day of surgery

Here’s some photos from immediately after my surgery. Everything went so well, I didn’t experience any nausea. My pain was about a 6, which the recovery nurse gave me fentanyl prior to being discharged home. I was prescribed norco, Valium, Zofran and an antibiotic. I was able to keep all my medication down that day which helped my pain level. As long as I stayed up on my pain medication my pain was very minimal. I mostly experienced extreme pressure which felt similar to needing to breastfeed my children but a little worse than that. My appetite was very minimal but tried to eat a few bites of fruit so I could tolerate all the medication. Again, my stats prior to surgery are 5’9” 135lbs. I wore a 34a/b bra and my goal is to the a 34D. I went with 400cc mentor moderate profile plus for a fuller and natural look with more cleavage and side boob.

I’m feeling much better each day. I’m able to sleep propped up with pillows in bed without any issues. Last night was the first time I ate an actual meal, besides that I’ve just been drinking water, ginger ale and eat fruit. I’ve read that most people develop a pooch from all the medication, especially narcotics. I have a pooch as well that I can’t wait for it to go away. My chest still feels very tight but again, this recovery has been a lot easier than I pictured it to be. Here’s some photos of my progress, I’m only two days out and I love them. Can’t wait for them to drop and fluff.
