Post 5 month update

So I had this crazy rare thing happen to me. When removing my scar tape a few weeks ago apparently it opened my scar on my right breast where a small hole appeared and I had some drainage come out, there was no pain, no redness and of course it happened on a Sat. I called my Dr. and they scheduled to see me that Monday. A small wound cavity has appeared. To heal it I have to "wick" the wound by stuffing the wound with wicking gauze to keep it draining from the inside out. So it will slowly heal and shrink. So it's a long process and I'm not a very patient person, and it's weird for me to stuff gauze into a hole in my own body, so there's that. Still no pain and the implant is not affected by it either. I was also put back on 2 different antibiotics. My doctor is unsure why this happened so late in the healing, but in the beginning was seeing me every 3 days now once a week to monitor it. It might be an internal stitch or even an infected hair folic, who knows? If anyone else has had this happen I would love to hear your experience. Other than this minor set back I'm enjoying them, but still wish I had gone a full-size larger.

Week 2 update

I really have no pain, they still feel tight and numb. I’m supposed to change my scar tape once a week. I feel like the swelling is going down, and the nipples are not pointing torpedo down so much. I still wear my surgical bra or my workout bra 24 hrs. Except when I shower. I wanted a natural look, but sometimes when wearing a sports bra it really minimizes them , so yes, boob greed happens and I think I should have gone bigger. I’ll give it 5 years to decide if I should upgrade.

Dr. Suver is so gentle and kind, I highly recommend him. I'm 50 years young and decided it's never to late. I'm so happy I did it! I'm 5'8" 140 lbs. and started 36B. I have 2 adult sons who were both breast fed until about 8 months old.

My recovery has been pretty good, other than the antibiotics giving me some tummy issues, my pain has been minimal. No prescription pain meds needed. Just Advil & Tylenol. I credit Dr. Suver and his team with their gentle touch it making my recovery comfortable as possible.

I also take the Supplements Arnica and Bromilain. My chest feels tight and I get "zingers" but other than that it's great! I'll try and add pictures, because I found that to be really helpful. Get the boobs, it's worth it!
