Dr. Suver, Hawken and their team have been nothing short of amazing. They have been friendly, kind and compassionate throughout the entire process. I hadn’t previously had surgery so the idea was very intimidating but Dr. Suver and his team made sure I felt safe and comfortable with everything from start to finish. Dr. Suver very patiently has continued answering every single question I’ve had throughout the process. I had a scare a week after surgery where I was quite worried I’d hurt myself and they had me in their office within a few hours to make sure everything was still healing properly. My results have exceeded anything I could have hoped for. If you’re looking for a plastic surgeon, please choose Dr. Suver with Plastic Surgeon’s of Alaska.
I can talk Dr. Suver up ALL DAY. He has done an amazing job. I feel I finally have my life back! First of all, he is very professional, a great listener, and so graceful. I had my TT with MR and Liposuction to flanks done on 1/30/23. I am a little over 9 weeks post-op. The results are perfect and what I have dreamt about for 21 years, since my first child was born! I wouldn't be exaggerating if I said that he is a perfectionist; He takes his job seriously! If you want the best, go to the best! Dr. Suver is the surgeon you need in your life!
5 STAR for Dr. Suver, his nurse Jessika and staff at Plastic Surgeons of Alaska! I chose Dr. Suver quickly after meeting him. I felt safe discussing personal and sensitive concerns, and felt better about myself when discussing moving forward. I was looking for someone who was personable had experience and valued what I was looking for. When meeting the staff they were all very warm and inviting. I had a breast augmentation and tummy tuck. For my breast augmentation scars are barely visible under the crease. Tummy tuck scars are visible but very light and thin. I am beyond blessed and happy with my results. Dr. Suver exceeded my expectations! Thank you for the new me.
I wanted to add a few more photos & a quick video. I hope it helps. My favorite bra is DOBREVA push up wireless padded bra, no underwire, plunge bra from Amazon. No back bulge and it makes the "girls" look amazing under clothes. Super comfortable. I step into it and pull it up, while leaning over to scoop my boobs up and into the bra. Gives great cleavage too!
got a breast augmentation with Dr. Suver and to say the least, he is a true professional and really cares about his patients. He was kind and honest about what he thought would look best and I couldn’t be happier! I’m in love with my new boobs and 10/10 would recommend him to anyone looking for cosmetic procedures.
Absolutely loved Dr. Suvor and his team!! I love my results from breast augmentation! 10/10!! So clean and friendly and all staff is so pleasant to deal with and knowledgeable. I was given all information upfront and felt very prepared!
After waiting 18 years or my tummy tuck, I finally got it! I can't even begin to explain how life changing this has been. Dr. Suver is extremely professional, and he definitely isn't afraid to tell you the truth. My results are honestly astonishing... I get so many compliments and I recommend him to everyone. My surgery went well and my recovery was way better than I thought it would be. I also got some lipo on my flanks and thighs ( made my Burt look amazing!) . Worth every cent and then some. The surgery center is very nice and clean and the staff there is awesome too:) great experience all around
Dr. Suver is so gentle and kind, I highly recommend him. I'm 50 years young and decided it's never to late. I'm so happy I did it! I'm 5'8" 140 lbs. and started 36B. I have 2 adult sons who were both breast fed until about 8 months old.My recovery has been pretty good, other than the antibiotics giving me some tummy issues, my pain has been minimal. No prescription pain meds needed. Just Advil & Tylenol. I credit Dr. Suver and his team with their gentle touch it making my recovery comfortable as possible.I also take the Supplements Arnica and Bromilain. My chest feels tight and I get "zingers" but other than that it's great! I'll try and add pictures, because I found that to be really helpful. Get the boobs, it's worth it! Updated on 6 Jul 2021: I really have no pain, they still feel tight and numb. I’m supposed to change my scar tape once a week. I feel like the swelling is going down, and the nipples are not pointing torpedo down so much. I still wear my surgical bra or my workout bra 24 hrs. Except when I shower. I wanted a natural look, but sometimes when wearing a sports bra it really minimizes them , so yes, boob greed happens and I think I should have gone bigger. I’ll give it 5 years to decide if I should upgrade. Updated on 26 Oct 2021: So I had this crazy rare thing happen to me. When removing my scar tape a few weeks ago apparently it opened my scar on my right breast where a small hole appeared and I had some drainage come out, there was no pain, no redness and of course it happened on a Sat. I called my Dr. and they scheduled to see me that Monday. A small wound cavity has appeared. To heal it I have to "wick" the wound by stuffing the wound with wicking gauze to keep it draining from the inside out. So it will slowly heal and shrink. So it's a long process and I'm not a very patient person, and it's weird for me to stuff gauze into a hole in my own body, so there's that. Still no pain and the implant is not affected by it either. I was also put back on 2 different antibiotics. My doctor is unsure why this happened so late in the healing, but in the beginning was seeing me every 3 days now once a week to monitor it. It might be an internal stitch or even an infected hair folic, who knows? If anyone else has had this happen I would love to hear your experience. Other than this minor set back I'm enjoying them, but still wish I had gone a full-size larger.
It’s only been 12 days since my BA but I can already tell you that Dr. Suver is so worth it. From initial consult, to scheduling, pre-op, surgery, post-op, everything has been great. He and his staff are wonderful and professional and have made the whole process super easy and minimally stressful. I’m happy with my results too, and I must say the aftercare instructions were a bit different than some other women’s experiences on this site but in a good way. I didn’t even get to see the results of my surgery until my post-op appointment 3 days later because they were wrapped up! I think that helped tremendously with the initial healing process. Anyway, great doctor. I’m so glad we have such an amazing PS in Alaska. Updated on 17 Jun 2021: I was a 34b/32c before, and I got 325 moderate plus. I was thinking 355 but there was such a small difference (a tablespoon to be exact!) I figured I’d stick with the 325’s. I don’t know what my size is now, I should probably measure so I can keep track of changes over the next few months. Dr. Suver had me keep my ace bandages on until my follow-up which was 3 days po, and I think that helped with the initial swelling. A lot of photos you’ll see on here that are within the first couple weeks, the breasts look very high and tight, I honestly think it’s because they don’t stay wrapped up long enough, or maybe do too much activity too soon. My ribs are sore 2 weeks post op which is normal. Another thing I’ve seen a lot is nearly every reviewer wished they would’ve gone a little bigger. I think that’s totally normal. I feel the same, but when I look at my boobs before, I’m reminded that I’ve got a pretty great rack now! I’m happy. Updated on 3 Jul 2021: July 2nd marks 4 weeks since my BA. I’m very happy with how things are going and how well my implants are settling already. I cannot wait to buy normal bras again! My skin was getting irritated by the scar tape so I’ve taken a week off from it but will resume using it this weekend. The rib tenderness has subsided significantly. I had gone for a 2 mile walk around week 2, averaged an 18+ minute mile. I walked again this past week and cut down my time by 4 minutes per mile without trying, so I’m definitely improving every day. I’ll be interested to see what my bra size ends up being. Pre-BA I was a 32c/34b. I measured 31.5/35.5 (band/bust) and now I’m a 31.5/37.75, which would put me at a 32dd or 34d, maybe? Bra calculators are weird so I’m looking forward to going to Victoria Secret in a few weeks to see what fits! Pic included shows 3 days PO vs 26 days PO, and pre-BA for reference. Definitely seeing the “drop” happening! Updated on 7 Jul 2021: Wow, my scars are looking pretty great even after less than 5 weeks. I took these photos yesterday. I took a break from scar tape for a couple weeks because it had caused some irritation. I started using it again yesterday. Updated on 14 Jul 2021: Before and after. I love them. Boob greed is still real, but comparing to before I’m like, dang girl! I’m still measuring 31.5 around my ribs and 37.5 around the biggest part of my bust, I think it puts me at about a 32dd or 34d. We shall see when I get some I ordered bras in the mail! Still not wearing real bras yet, definitely no underwire for a while. Updated on 18 Jul 2021: I’m continuing to measure about 31.5in band and 37.5 bust. I’ve been taking measurements since the first week and aside from swelling in the beginning, there’s been little change to my numbers. I don’t like my bands tight so I lean towards 34’s. I ordered 2 wireless Victoria’s Secret bras in 34d and of course the day I get them in the mail was the day after my 6wk phone call where I was told I could start wearing underwire again and resume all normal physical activities! The wireless bras are not as comfortable as I’d hoped. But I’ll keep them just in case. I tried on 34d and 34dd yesterday in various brands and discovered that the most comfortable one was a 34d Maidenform t-shirt bra, but the cups were just a tiny bit tight, with some side spillage and not quite enough coverage on top. I went online and ordered 34dd. I am pleasantly surprised at my size and I think any bigger would’ve made it impossible to bra shop. I was also told I could start sleeping bra-less, but it’s such an odd feeling after 6 weeks of wearing sports bras at night! I ended up getting out of bed to put on a shelf bra cami, just to feel like I had something supporting them! I tried running again, and aside from it just feeling strange to run with bigger boobs, there wasn’t any worrisome pain or discomfort. I will slowly get back to exclusively running, but the walk/run combo is fine for now. Also doing exercises with dumbbells, and squats without a barbell or weights. I will slowly reincorporate my weightlifting with heavier weight as I feel comfortable. Luckily I didn’t lose much muscle mass or gain extra weight during my break in exercise. I’m not sure if other women jump right back into everything exactly as they did before, but with the amount of money I spend on these girls, I’m not going to risk doing too much too soon! If you are worried about one side not dropping as fast as the other, I’d say to try using your non-dominant side as much as you can, and give the muscles on your dominant side a chance to relax. I even started brushing my teeth and unscrewing stuff, opening doors, carrying my purse, etc. with my right hand and I do think it helped to do that. Any questions anyone has, I’m happy to answer! Updated on 1 Aug 2021: 8 weeks post op and I continue noticing changes! I’ll also upload one of the surgical bra with the sizers compared to after surgery. The sizers give you an idea but it’s much better when they’re real! Updated on 14 Aug 2021: I remembered to take a pic with the post surgery bra. I think the real deal looks so much better than sizers. I am still quite happy with my results, coming in around a 32dd still. But I need to make it into make into a VS and try on some other hard to find sizes to make sure I’m on the mark. The feeling is slowly coming back to my left boob, which is good. The girls are responding more evenly now too (probably due to feeling coming back). They’re still getting softer and feeling more natural to touch. I get a bit frustrated with my clothes because I want to accentuate my boobs without being super obvious. I work in a professional office environment and so I have to keep it classy. Also thinking about winter approaching and wanting to buy more figure-hugging fleeces and stuff! Pics attached to this update are 9-10 weeks post op. Just a reminder, I was a 32c/34b pre, and approximately a 32dd post. 325cc smooth mod plus Sientra. Updated on 2 Sep 2021: All is well. Getting more feeling back on the left each day, although it does feel funny to run because there's still numbness but not the entire left boob, so I can feel the implant moving as I move. The right side feels like it’s always been mine. I honestly feel like they’re getting smaller but I know they’re actually not. You get used to them after a while and forget your previous size!! I’m glad to be back to running and lifting weights. Running is as it always has been, weights I’m not back to what I was lifting before but I’m maintaining physique and for now that’s good enough! In this update’s collage, I think the dropping and fluffing is pretty apparent. Scars are doing well too, remember to keep your boobs (and the rest of your body) moisturized, ladies!
Just a quick note to express how thankful I am that I chose Dr.Suver as my plastic surgeon. You have been very professional yet down to earth, which made me feel very comfortable with you. I am very pleased with the outcome of my mommy make over surgery. Your knowledge & skills gave me a very natural look just like I requested. I cannot say enough about the staff, the ladies there are so friendly and welcoming. I miss seeing them all.
Hypersensitivity is not uncommon after surgery or liposuction. You should keep your followup with your surgeon to ensure there isn't something untoward occurring that requires treatment, but assuming not, this usually resolves with more time and healing. In addition to time, massage to the area can help desensitize and retrain the nerves. You can ask your surgeon whether you have healed enough to start this treatment. Best of luck with your continued recovery.
While early capsular contracture is a remote posibility, it is much more likely that one implant is just settling faster than the other. You are still quite early in the overall healing process. It often takes several months to half a year for augmented breasts to reach their final shape. Your plastic surgeon may give you specific therapies to help your breasts equalize faster, although gravity and time alone will likely bring you to where you need to be. Be sure to follow up and bring up your specific concerns when you are next seen. Good luck with your recovery.
Based on your photograph, I would not say your breasts are tuberous. The areola do appear to be on the large side, though, and your breast creases may be somewhat constricted. An areola reduction can permanently reduce the size of the areola and would have a very low chance of affecting breastfeeding. There will be a permanent scar. These typically fade, although, how this ends up depends in large part on your genetics. The appearance of other old scars on your body should give you and your surgeon some idea of how yours would likely end up. The feel and texture of your breasts does not sound atypical. There is a wide range to how breasts feel, depending on their physical makeup and your age.I would suggest an in person examination and consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon. An in person exam would be most helpful for determining exactly how to reach your goals.Good luck!
Two weeks recovery should be more than adequate after breast augmentation. I routinely let my patients fly much earlier than this, although you should check with your your plastic surgeon for their specific guidelines. You will probably feel fairly good at that point in time, although you will still be early in your course with regard to healing and tissue strength. You will need to be be mindful not to be overly exert yourself and potentially strain or pull these healing tissues. Wear good support and do not be shy about asking for assistance. Good luck with your procedure!
Thank you for your question. Breast augmentation is safe before pregnancy. There is no effect on pregnancy itself, and breastfeeding is also safe with either saline or silicone implants. Anesthetics can pose a danger to a developing fetus, so a pregnancy test is standard to make sure you aren't pregnant at the time of surgery.Breasts can change after pregnancy and breastfeeding (regardless of whether you have an implant), so if you are thinking of becoming pregnant in the near future you may consider delaying surgery until afterward to get the most lasting and durable results possible.
