My recovery is going good so far. I love my boobs!!! I had my BA on Feb 17th and at the one month period I ended up in the hospital for some type of Infection or allergic reaction to the implants. My doctor and hospital doctors weren't sure what was wrong with me. Needless to say I'm doing well. I'm out of the hospital after 3 days of IV Antibiotics and steroids. It was a traumatic event for me but I got threw it. As for my breasts I am currently feeling a lot of hypersensitivity on or around my areolas. I was told I can wear pasties to help with the hypersensitivity. I'm wearing my sports bra now as well. I previously could not wear my surgical bra or any sports bra because my incisions were ititated from the shoelace bra cast. I was told not to wear it anymore until my next post op apt. I've tried on several bras and it seems like my bra size is 35DD. ? I'm so happy about that because that's exactly what I was aiming for. Dr. J and his staff has been super nice helpful and caring about my recovery. I totally would go back and do it all over again with them. His office is very professional and personable as well.

You look awesome! Has anything surprised you about the recovery so far?

Thank you! Yes, the pain in my left breast hasn't stopped. It's still bigger and harder than my right breast. I am hoping they will even out but I'm not sure that will happen. Other than that I love the size I picked.

They look amazing. I'm 49 and after 3 children finally having implants next month. Mine look just like yours before and I'm having the same size implant. Excited .They did look too big on the first photos and I did worry a little, , but that was clearly the swelling, but they look amazing you must be so pleased .

Hi there! Yes it freaked me out too lol I'm doing better just have to take it easy this time around. I love how they look now but they will change again once they fully drop and fluff. They are still swollen and I get sharp tingling pain occasionally. I am thinking it's just my sensitivity coming back. I wish you well on your surgery. You'll be happy you did it. I can't wait to see your review.

Hey there! Yes, I know it's been awhile since I have updated y'all about my BA surgery. There's lots to talk about so I'm going to jump right in it.

Last you know about I was admitted into the hospital for some kind of infection unknow. My doctor and the ER doctor was not sure about my condition. I was given IV antibiotics and steriods for 3 days until my symptoms were almost gone. Some of my symptoms were redness, itching, burning, swelling, fever, and a powerful pain.

I finally want home on the third day and was put back on antibiotics and steriods for the next week. That was my third round of oral meds. I started to know a difference in a better way but one symptom did remain. I had the worst pain on my left breast and noticed it was turning into a hard ball. YES, A HARD BALL. Needless to say I went back to my plastic surgeon and was advice to take singulair pills for three months. He has mention there have been studies about those pills decreasing my symptoms. I took them for a month and a half and only noticed my symptoms were getting worst so I rescheduled my next appointment a month earlier. The doctor saw me and told me YES, you probably know... I am experiencing capsular contracture on my left breast. We called it and scheduled my surgery for Monday the 24th of July. Two months after I was admitted into the hospital for some kind of infection.

Here we were are today one day after surgery. I feel a lot better, no left breast pain ( pressure, and roundness). However; I did noticed my breasts are looking a lot smaller. I'm not sure why or if the implant was exchanged for a smaller size. I have drains on both implants and so far have to empty them out every 6 hours. The norm is 12 hours so I have a lot of bleeding inside from trying to clean up all the scar tissue that created this mess is mine. My pain level is about a 5 out of 10. So that's pretty good. I'm able to eat but feel a little nausea. Other than that I'm doing so much better. I'll find out later when I go back to my DR in a week what happened to my breast. Ohhh... I did forget to mention, my implants this time around (2nd surgery) were placed under my muscle. First surgery he couldn't place them under so they were on top.

I posted some before my 2nd surgery pictures. If you have any questions let me know. Thank you for your support and comments.

Yes I was shocked he was able to fit me in his schedule with short notice. I will say I love my PS I know it wasn't his fault it's just how my body reacted to the implants. I am ready to be my normal self.

After how long did you have your contracture capsular?

As soon as I found out I had it, waited 3 months before I scheduled my surgery.

Why couldn’t your PS place them under muscle the first time around?

He actually did the first time. It placed the implant under the muscle on my left breast but didn't like how it looked. He said I looked like I had snoopy deformity so he decides to put them over. I think that is the reason why I have had issues with my left breast.

That’s such a bummer, I’m sorry you had to go through that!!

It's ok. I'm starting to accept what happened and move forward from this. I am still having issues with my left breast, it's hard and hurts again. To me that is a clear indication I have cc again. I'm holding off on another surgery until I can't take the pain anymore and hope my breast tissue is good enough to start all over with another PS.

Today was great! I felt like I didn't need to take a pain killer. I bathed myself and walked around the house just to give my body some excercise. It about 10pm and u am now feeling pain. I took 2 hydrocodone and it seems to be helping me now with the pain. The most pain in feeling is coming from my incisions or near it. I have two drains one on each side. I noticed the blood is lessening today today is less then yesterday. I'm draining about 5 ml on my right breast and 10 ml on my left breast. My left breast was the bad one. I had a capsular contracture hqppen on it.

Overall my day is a lot better than the first time I got my implants in Feb 2017.
