Things are looking up.....
I'm out of the hospital and now resting at home. My doctors and I are not sure what happened to my breasts. On March 15th I started noticing my breasts were feeling hot (warmth), had redness, swelling, tenderness and pain I felt very concerned and called my PS. I sent him pictures and he later called me and ask that I go in to see him. I went to see him the next day since he was in surgery the day he called. My PS said he wasn't sure what was going on but he would want me to take more pictures and he would share my story with his partners. He then prescribed me Augmentin antibiotics and a steroid pack. I left the office still feeling concerned because I have been on antibiotics for the first week after surgery and then prescribed again because I had some issues with my incisions. Check my previous posts for more info about my issues with my incisions. Ok back to my update... I went about my day the next day at work but ended up leaving work early because my breasts were hurting more and more and the redness was getting worse. It was nice to know that my PS was very concerned and called me to ask how I was feeling, if and there were any improvements with my breast. I told him no and I felt I should have IV Antibiotics because I've been on Augmentin antibiotics and I came up with there's symptoms. He agreed and told me to go to the hospital and he will have his in call Dr check it out. I was admitted into the hospital Friday night and discharged on Sunday afternoon. Only after I was given several IV doses of vancomycin and clindamycin and steroids. The redness is almost gone the pain is not too bad and the tenderness is going away. I was told I would have to continue to take clindamycin and steroids while at home but I should be cured. None if the doctors in the hospital can tell me how I got sick or what I had. I am just happy my PS agreed to send me to the hospital and give me the help I needed. I must say... I was so happy that I paid for the extra insurance my PS office offers CosmetAssure. It's good for the first 45 days right after surgery. This whole experience was crazy but I'm glad I am getting better day by day. I uploaded pictures starting from March 15 to now. I'll post another update after my next post op appointment March 23rd.

It was called in. I'm officially in the hospital. On March 16th I went to see my PS per his request after I sent him pictures of my breasts. I am experiencing redness tenderness burning swelling and pain on my breasts. He prescribed a steroid pack and another round of antibiotics and sent me home. I took the first set of steroids and antibiotics when I got home. The next day i went in to work and had to leave early because it was too much pain for me. My PS office called me to ask how I'm doing and if anything has changed. I told her no she asked for more pics. I sent her he pictures and told her I want the doctor to give me an IV Antibiotic. She called me back and said my PS wanted me to check into the hospital emergency room. I've been in the hospital since March 17th. Nice way to spend st pattys day lol no really my health comes first.

Since I've been here I've had two doses of vancomycin, Clindamycin, morphine, they gave me a blood thinner shot and nausea meds. I'm still experiencing the same symptoms. They have taken lots of blood work and cultures. My doctor should be stopping by today to tell me what's going on. They are thinking it could be cellulitis. If it doesn't heal in the next three days my PS recommended to remove my implants. That's the last thing I want but I know it's best because my health comes first. I'm a little worry but I'm being hopeful it will all clear up. I'll continue to update everyone.
