2 week update

I’m in love! All the initial anxiety I was feeling is thankfully gone, along with most of the swelling and bruising. I just had my one week post -op appointment and my dr says everything is looking great. He gave my my scar cream, and we booked a virtual follow up in a couple of weeks so that he can instruct me as to how to safely remove the mesh over my incisions.

They are seriously already getting so soft, and they move and feel so naturally. I’m just so beyond pleased with my new curves, feeling beautiful and confident. I’m measuring at a 32c which is exactly what I was hoping for! To be able to fill out clothing in a way I never could feels so incredibly wonderful!!

Day 3 post op, headed back to work!

Today is day 3 post op and I’m headed back to work! I’m also allowed to return to the gym today for light workouts if I want.

A big part of why I chose Dr. Windle was that he specializes in what he calls rapid recovery. I thought it might be too good to be true, but after reading his many reviews here and now having experienced it myself I know he wasn’t kidding! He wants you up and moving doing your arm raises and stresses that the more I move the better I’ll feel—and he’s absolutely right so far! He doesn’t prescribe narcotics, and I see why because there’s been no need. I’ve been taking aleve and for the first couple of days also some Tylenol for pain—and that’s it. I do have some bruising, but it’s already getting better. I don’t seem to have any numbness at this point, but my breasts are definitely sensitive overall, which I am assuming is due to the swelling. I’ve been wearing a sports bra most of the time, and so far this feels the most comfortable. Surprisingly, I’ve been sleeping pretty well even though I’m not what I would call a back sleeper. Last night I was even able to sleep on my side a bit without discomfort and that was nice.

The girls are definitely sitting high and tight, and I do of course have a fair bit of swelling—because of this they’re also shiny and pretty firm right now, but I know this will change and that they will soften and drop with time.

Something else I think is worth mentioning here is that I’ve been feeling some anxiety and am having some trouble adjusting to my new body/shape. I don't regret my choice, and I know it’s important to be patient with myself while I’m healing—but DAMN it’s hard sometimes! I’ve heard this mentioned in other reviews and I’m so thankful to those who did because it normalized that for me. I can already tell that being patient and non-judgmental of my body during the healing process will be the hardest part for me, and I wanted to make note of it for anyone else who may be wondering about or experiencing this.

Day of treatment

My BA was today!!

110-115lbs, started with a 32a, 35, no kids, always had a bit of asymmetry—it’s just so much more noticeable now because my weight has gone down by about 25-ish lbs since high school (I had a lovely C cup back then). I began working out regularly a few years ago and although I love my muscle definition and how strong I feel, I do not love how much breast tissue I lost in the process. It left me feeling like I had half-full boobs if that makes any sense?

I’ve I just had my BA today with Dr. Windle, and I cannot get over how good I feel so far. Dr. Windle and his team made me feel SO comfortable! I’m a bit sore and tight right now, which is of course to be expected, but my pain is surprisingly very minimal and so far I’ve had zero nausea. I’ll add my before pics to this post, and I’ll update with after pics once I have a chance to take some.

I went with 350cc sientra gummy bears.
