WORTH IT
Hi! Thought it would be helpful to share my little journey, I know it was useful to me prior to my procedure :-) details below.I am about 5’3.5, 125-130 lbs, and started with a 34-36B, but definitely on the larger side of a B. On my initial consult we tried on 325cc full, 355 full, 375 full, and 360 demi. My final decision before surgery day 10/09, was between 355 cc and 375 cc. I chose 355cc on day of surgery and I love them!I’m glad I went with doctors suggestion of 355cc I think they fit my frame fabulously. Surgeon went with over the muscle placement (subglandular) because I had a good amount of breast tissue that he felt I didn’t need under the muscle placement. I had my surgery at 9am today, 10/09 and I feel great. It took me about 30 minutes after waking up to gather my bearings, but otherwise no real pain, no issues, I’ve been walking around just fine, and couldn’t be happier.

They are looking really nice, I think one side is sitting higher than the other, but natural asymmetry was like that before so not an issue. Day 2 was definitely the worst, super sore. Today feeling a lot better.

Swelling looks like it’s going down, they are slowly starting to drop. Looks like one is dropping more than the other.
Additionally, I wanted to share my experience of going to Tijuana from the US, as I forgot to include in my initial post. I live in San Diego, CA, so this was fairly easy. For my initial consult, I drove my own car across the border and used valet service at New City Medical Plaza. Super technologically updated building, and easy to ask for help once inside. Nicer than most medical offices I’ve been to in the US.
As for the procedure itself, it was seamless. I was in, and then I was out. Surgeon, anesthesiologist, doctors, and nurses were amazing. No worries at all, and they kept pain to a minimum PLUS listened to my concerns about pain meds and nausea (I tend to get very nauseous on stronger painkillers).
Since I am alone out here and my family resides in a different state, I decided to use the recovery house option the doctor suggested (I believe this added on $580). Baja premium care was a wonderful experience and I would 100% do it again and recommend it to anyone looking to go that route. I stayed for 4 nights, 5 days and felt comfortable, well taken care of, and didn’t have to worry about keeping track of meds or changing bandages on my own. WiFi worked great and I was able to get some work done while staying. Included in the package is also a driver to and from TJ/SD. They used medical pass to get back across the border into the US.
This was a first time plastic surgery, so I took about a million precautions prior to making the decision to do it and consulted with doctors in both Southern California and Mexico.
I’m over the moon with how everything turned out and would advise those who are scared of going alone or going to Mexico not to worry and to consult with many doctors until you find one that listens to your questions and concerns, as well as one that gives you realistic and safe options for your body to match what you want aesthetically.
And if you’re like me and have no idea what big or small really is on your own body type, it helps to have a surgeon that has a good eye for body proportions/ratios!!

Hi I’m strongly considering booking with him. You look great. Are you happy? Were you treated well . Any tips? Thanks and stay healthy

Hi! Yes, was treated extremely well. I love the way the look, will update photos. My biggest tip would be to add on the recovery house stay, that was super helpful.

Thank you for replying! I really hope my breast revision/lift looks something even half as good as your boob job. I’m so happy for you. The coordinator I’ve been speaking to has been so helpful and luckily I’m going to have a zoom call with him on Monday then I’ll book my surgery day. I’m also getting 360 lipo, j plasma, rhinoplasty and possibly bbl so I’ll definitely be booking the recovery house. Is it scary driving down there for your post op visits? I don’t speak any Spanish and am terrified of crossing the border

I left California shortly after I got my boobs done so haven’t had a post op yet! My procedure was also very straightforward. But ask his office about using a driving service! There are plenty in the TJ area and inexpensive so you can avoid driving on your own which is such a pain in the ass
