Like many of you ladies on this site, I too have been contemplating breast implants for quite sometime and have done an extensive amount of research in terms of the process from beginning to end. I had a plastic surgeon in mind already due to a recommendation made by my sister.

I an not going to go on about the amount of research that I've done that lead to me getting my augmentation procedure, so here goes my experience thus far.

I had my surgery done on 2/28/2017 by Dr. Moises Salama in Aventura, Florida.

Day 1 - surgery day
I was told the surgery only lasted about 45 minutes, but recovery time before I was released to my husband was a little bit longer and of course as I was becoming a little alert because the anesthesia was now beginning to wear off I was still loopy. I slept all the way to hotel and did not wake up until midnight. On this day I only took one oxycodone - which made me feel sick to my stomach and knocked my butt out until about 3 or 4 the next morning. That was the only time I took the oxycodone, I took over the counter extra strength Tylenol instead on an as needed basis. The pain after surgery in my opinion was tolerable. I know that we all handle pain differently, so for me having given birth to three children naturally, the pain was nothing. My chest breast just felt tight like I was a part of the gym workout boot camp. Hehehe.

Day 2
I was soar and felt like my muscles were very stiff once I woke up in the AM. I took Tylenol because the muscle aches were a bit much as I was not prescribed muscle relaxants. The Tylenol did the job though so I was okay!
I had an appointment with Dr.Salama today as things are looking good so far, I was instructed to wake up every two to three hours and walk for about 10 minutes, which I did faithfully in the hotel room. I was also instructed to sleep in an elevated position.... very uncomfortable on my booty it aches like crazy. I do have a neck pillow so I do get an okay night rest. Sleeping sitting down is no joke!

Day 3
I had another post op visit before I take a flight back home, lucky for me it was only a two hour flight any longer and I would have been in trouble. My appointment went well and I am to start massaging in about a week. Two to three times a day. I also have to keep wearing a sports bra for 6 wks.

Day 4 - 3/4/17
As the days go by the discomfort is subsiding. My boobs feel less heavy and softer. I have feeling in my left breast and little feeling in the right, Doc says it'll come back over time.
I'll try to continue to share my experience.

What size implants did you get?
I got 280 left and 300 right. I wanted to stay close to looking natural as possible.

I'm glad you're healing well! What made you choose saline over silicone implants?

For as long as I have been researching breast implants, saline had always been my choice.
I figured if anything and my implant ruptured, my body would absorb the salt water. ☺ feels safer!
