Are you going to have a revision? If you do will you work with the same PS? You're attitude about this has been amazing by the way. I'm following your story and interested to read what happens next.
Aw thank you. Yeah I'm going to have a revision with the same PS (don't know when because of covid). I hope it won't be too long as both breasts are uncomfortable now. It's also getting a bit warm to wear a roll neck sweater to hide their wonkiness! Gotta laugh haven't you! ;..)))
Hi, did you have your revision?
I’m with the same hospital although a different surgeon, and I’m having my 2nd revision next month. I met with mr hodgeskinson to get a second opinion about my revision, he seems nice but I’m not sure over all if I would choose either of those surgeons now and wish I had done more research. X
Nope. Still waiting. The private lists at the RVI are closed at the moment. TBH it's driving me nuts. I'm back at the gym now and my boobs are really full at the top and saggy with low nipples at the bottom; clearly visible through a sports bra and vest top. I just want it sorted so I can get on with my life..I only hope that the revision works. I've read a medical paper about some surgeons over dissecting the implant pocket - it sure if that happened in my case?? Let me know how you get on xxxx
Ahh I’m gutted for you, I know what it’s like feeling like you’re life is on hold.
As unhappy as I am having had my original surgery in September 2020, first revision in March 2021 and my second revision booked in for early next month, ive had no
Problem with them agreeing the revisions and giving me dates that are convenient to me.
I hope you get seen to soon x
Do you have any updates?
Hey, just saw this... see my reply above... STILL waiting :(((((
Hey, so I'm not a PS, but I have done endless research for my own surgery and revision. Anatomical implants never give a "natural" look, personally I like them because they tend to give good cleavage especially with the tall height and larger sizes. Implants below the muscle have the tendency to go down and out because of the way the pec muscle is shaped. It looks like you have some animation deformity, which can always be fixed by releasing the muscle. If you want a more natural look you should get round smooth implants, and I would go a little larger in size to close the gap a little, maybe moderate profile. Round smooth silicone implants create a natural slope more than shaped implants do. Also because shaped implants are textured they are going to stay in place. That might be why you feel your nipples sit low, because the implants don't drop that much after surgery. They are meant to stay where the surgeon places them. If you want to stay with anatomical implants you might want to consider moderate height because you are athletic and slim. If you are worried about having an overly round look with round implants it's more about how the surgeon dissects the pockets and what profile you choose. A high profile will be more augmented and a low or moderate profile will be more natural. I noticed in your pre-op pics that you had mild ptosis, anatomical implants can help to lift the lower poles of the breast to create a lifted look without a lift. If I were you I would either go with round smooth implants in a moderate plus profile or if you wanted to stay with shaped implants I would maybe switch to medium height to fix the upper portion that you said feels tight on the cleavage edge and stay with a full profile to lift the lower poles. You definitely have to get the pec muscle released. I hope this helps. You look beautiful and I know it can be very frustrating when you get a surgery and then have issues. You look beautiful and whatever implants you choose I'm sure you will have a great outcome! Best of luck!
Omg what a lovely (and very detailed) message. The surgery looked great immediately afterwards and slowly the implants have gravitated up over. They did look completely natural before this happened. Thank you so much for thinking about me. Xxx
I just had a revision myself because my implants bottomed out, I know how stressful it can be. I personally like the "fake look" lol so I went larger for my revision. I have smooth round implants over the muscle, but in the future when it comes time I need to replace them I definitely will switch to anatomical. A lot of times during the healing process the muscle doesn't release the implant or the surgeon didn't release it enough during surgery. It should be a very easy fix. Especially if you go with the same type of implants you already had, then the PS doesn't have to revise the pockets as much. I can see in the beginning they looked absolutely beautiful, I think they just need a little muscle release and they should look exactly like they were. Hopefully you will be able to get a revision soon so you don't have to worry about it anymore. Have a great day and keep us updated! Can't wait to see your results! :)
Hey any update?

Feb 2021 - update

Been to see Mr Hodgkinson twice now. 1st in Sept 2020 and 2nd in Feb 2021. Things are definitely not great. Both implants have moved. The left is awful. The right not so bad but I now have a too heavy boobs and low nipples. My left breast is uncomfortable and feels tight where the implant is pressing against the cleavage edge.
I am going to have a revision. During my 2nd consultation with Mr Hodgkinson I was a bit flustered and nervous and even though I had a list of things to talk to him about I forgot to look at it. As a consequence I didn’t get in all my points about how my breasts are top heavy (the right implant has moved upwards by 1.5cm) and the left is, well, just look at the pics.
I am really REALLY disappointed- I don’t understand how this can happen? Perhaps the implant pockets were over dissected? If anyone reads this I would really like some advice.

Pics showing L deformity

Still heard nothing back from the surgeon. His secretary has acknowledged my email and said she would pass on the pics.
