I had bruises and bleeding post breast augmentation surgery. Dr had me take Celebrex(NSAID) before and maybe that caused the excess bleeding and bruises. Dr did not use drains so the bleeding drained out the incision area and down my body. I could see the blood which looked like bruise travel down my body to my groin and inner leg which took 7-10 days to reabsorb into my system as the skin looked blue purple to yellow green. I don’t recall the events within the 24 hours after surgery. I know I passed out (or threw up) and thank heavens hubby was able to feed me chicken noodle soup and hold me up to go to the bathroom. The post op pain medication worsened my nausea so I took Tylenol. The photos show my bruises and swollen chest. I was able to go back to a office type job a week later and able to drive 6 days later. I had capsular contracture in one breast (L) which took 2 years to feel loose and dropped to be even in look & feel to the other breast which had less internal bleeding. Overall I am happy I am thinking to update them to silicone implants which feel softer on my friend than my Mentor medium profile Saline 330 cc implants (overfilled). My rib circumfrence is 12” I’m 5’4 110-120 lbs. I used to wear size 0-2 and now have to wear 2-4 to avoid the bubble boob overflow Jessica rabbit look. Hope this helps !
