I was a 34 yo with a very deflated B when I first came to see Dr. Crispin board certified plastic surgeon in Atlanta. After breastfeeding 3 babies and pumping to store milk I had nothing left of my breast, but two very sad “puppy ears”.
I work out a lot, lift barbell, run and maintain a healthy diet and having a beautiful beast is all I wanted to feel good about myself.
It was hard for me to love myself. How can I expect my husband to love my body if I can’t look in the mirror at my own image no matter what I do and no matter how hard I work out? We sleep in separate bedrooms and live together like good friends. Many of you would say it was all in my head. I gave him 3 beautiful kids... but I knew I had to go through surgery. I had my husband’s full support in this.
The only issue was my health. I have low platelet count, deep vein thrombosis in my right leg and a severe anemia from loosing a lot of blood monthly. I had to wait 2 full years to finally go through with this surgery. Several times I scheduled the surgery and had to cancel because I got sick or could not receive clearance from my hematologist. Dr. Crispin was very understanding and did not give up on me despite of all of my health issues. He made sure I was safe to go through with the surgery.
My surgery was May 14, 2018. I will post the pics before and up to date. I am recovering well. I only regret I couldn’t do this sooner.
