11 months post op

Just an update on where I’m at. My breasts look great and are very symmetrical. I continue to be so impressed with how they look. I am usually wearing a comfortably fitting sports bra or regular bra but sometimes I go bra less. My surgeon said it makes no difference because the implants are surgically placed in the breast pocket and won’t drop but I am still nervous! It seems like such a big investment that I want to support them and make sure they stay looking great for the next 20 years! Anyone else have these fears?

7 months after

I am at 7 months post surgery. My scars are still a bit red, especially underneath.
The girls are nice and soft and a bit bouncy now.
I am so incredibly happy about my result.
I have no pain but my incisions are itchy every once in a while.

13 weeks PO

I went to see my surgeon last week and he said everything is healing nicely. I have fair skin
so my scars are very red right now but that will start to fade over the next 6-12 months.
I honestly haven’t been keeping up on scar therapy very much so I’m not sure if it’s a coincidence that they turned more red or if they would have done that anyway.
My scars are itching quite a bit more lately.

Overall rating

After a lot of very careful consideration, I decided to look into getting my boobs back to (and even better than) where they were before two kids. I consulted with about half a dozen surgeons in Colorado Springs and Denver and none of them felt just right. When I met with Dr. Smith I was only halfway through the appointment when I knew he was my surgeon. During my consult he took lots of time to explain things to me, draw diagrams, show me sample implants, look at photos, etc. He even helped me try on sizers and talk about the different options in profile, volume, projection. He was amazing and his price was very reasonable. I booked that day. If there is anything negative about Dr. Smith its that his schedule is very full so it was 3 months before I could get in for surgery but it was SOOOOO worth the wait. I met with Dr. Smith several times before surgery and brought him photos and talked about exactly what I wanted to achieve. I left the final size and profile up to him and during surgery he opted to go with 520CC’s in high profile. This exactly achieved the look I wanted. He is an artist! I had a lift with my implants so there was a lot of very skilled cutting that he had to do and from day 1 my breasts looked much improved. They started high and have dropped into a perfect position on my chest. It takes an inordinate amount of skill to predict where implants will settle and Dr. Smith has that skill. His bedside manner is phenomenal. He is always kind and answers questions. He doesn’t push you into anything and lets you know the limitations of your body. The surgery facility was wonderful and the people were all very kind. Dr. Smith called me at home the night of surgery to check up on me and I have seen him for several post-op appointments since. I went from a super saggy barely B cup to a very nice DD. I am so in love with my breasts and I owe it all to Dr. Smith. He is a master and worth the wait. You won’t be sorry.
