Day 3

Hands down the most painful day so far. For some reason I woke up with really bad burning sensation on my right incision but there was no bleeding or swelling. I started to take my medication more frequently as recommended by my surgeon & tried to rest as much as possible.

Moved to my mother in laws as my partner had to work today & didn’t want me to be alone this morning since yesterday I woke up in a lot of pain.

It’s as if gravity is completely against you pulling at your incision. I want to puke just writing about it.

I’ll post some pics as requested from my incision. Still have steri strips on & PS will be removing next week.

Day 2 Posy Op Recap

Day 2 of surgery was a little more exhausting. I became very swollen especially in my left breast. Skin feels tight & zingers are happening as my nerves are regenerating.

So far I’ve only taken medication once every 5 hours after leaving the Cambie Surgery Centre (instead of Doctor recommended 3/4 hours) for the first day. I tried taking no medication after my follow up appointment day 2 & around 6pm I started getting shooting pains which were a bit intolerable. Took two extra strength Tylenol & iced my chest.

Surprisingly have had an amazing appetite so far! I finally went number 2 at 2 am this morning. (Day 3) this narcotics really back your up sighhh * ate holy crap cereal mixed with half a packet of oatmeal, I’ve also had smooth love tea throughout the day, mixed not from concentrate pineapple juice I got from whole foods & coconut water ( tastes exactly like a pina colada! ) also what I found helpful was simply prune baby food. I’ll post a pic for you guys to reference. I truly believe that out of all the things I took to get a bowel movement this is what helped.

34 A/B to Bilateral Mentor Moderate+ 475 Cc Inframammary

10 years I’ve been waiting for this surgery & my dreams finally came true!

After relying on this site for my breast augmentation decision I wanted to share my experience to try to help others!
Overall I’m very happy with my decision. Im 1 day post op from under the muscle silicone implants, 475cc. I love the way they look but do hope they soften a bit more over the next few weeks/ months.

I can’t tell you how much extensive research I did on different surgeons, sizes, incision sights, Saline vs. Silicone etc. & when it came down to it I was mentally, physically & emotionally as prepared as I could be.

I’ve been a member of “ Itty Bitty Titty Committee” for 29 years & now I have fricken boobs!

Pre Op Stats:
Age: 29
Weight: 138 lbs
Bra size: 34 A or 34 B (push up)

Dr. Gelfant is very well versed in his profession. As a board certified surgeon & with many more credentials his 36 years in practice gave me the confidence to follow through with him as my PS. He’s honest & straightforward & has more of a conservative approach with his practice. Think like “ less is more”. When I let him know the size I was going for he let me know that it was quite a generous one & said given my measurements he wouldn’t exceed 500 cc. I appreciated his input & decided to go with 475cc after months of going back & forth between sizes. He never once pressured me or directed me & said this decision is solely mine to make. Surgery was SO EASY I was astonished. Dr.Ahmadi the anesthesiologist was remarkable & kind too. Same with all the staff and OR nurses at Cambie Surgery Centre. I’m still in awe & I would do it again if I had to!
