I am 5 days away from being 1 month post op ! I couldn’t get in with the doctor for my 1 month follow up until the following week due to my work schedule but I can defiantly tell I look more proportional and I am filling out my clothes! So excited for summer and I’m still scared to buy any bathing suits or bras until I get measured and am cleared to try them on!

Sorry for the late post but this is 20 days post op. Using the scar cream every day after showering at night. They are finally fluffing out and I can defiantly feel my muscles becoming more relaxed and my skin feeling less tense. My two week follow up went very well and I can’t wait till I get my restrictions lifted and to start buying wireless bras(:!

My boyfriend said they have and I can defiantly tell as well! My skin is not as tight as it was the first week post op and they actually move and giggle a little now as supposed to being so stiff and tight before. I’m really happy with how they did turn out though because I was scared I went too small, Thank you!

Day 5 post op
Finally off of all pain meds and muscle relaxers. I’m doing laundry, dishes and washing my hair by myself. I’m still being careful about lifting anything over 10 pounds or my hand over my head. But the o my time I’m sore is when I first wake up and I just have to keep moving around. The bruising is slowly going away and looking better under the breasts.

Wow sounds like your recovery is going really well!! What size bra were you before?? Just curious
I was a 34B, and I haven’t updated since that last post but I had one really good day(because I did nothing all day but drink lots of water, walk not even more then 10 min at a time and relaxed all day) and didn’t have to take anything then the next day I could not even move by the end of the day without crying until I took medicine and the pain medicine kicked in. I think I over did it by doing a whole lot of chores around the house by myself and I really shouldn’t have done that. It is so hard for me to let others help me because it makes me feel useless. As long as I am not over doing it I just feel pulls around the incision areas which are manageable but if I’m up trying to do a lot of things then I will have to take a muscle relaxer or pain medicine then. In general I really am doing great compared to most but don’t get me wrong I do have my bad days.
I guess that's for sure a reality about recovery. The pain is real. But I know it will get better. I myself am super nervous about that. Just 11 days away! And if anything I'm soooo nervous about being put under. My first time.
I was in the same boat my first time being put to sleep for my teeth implants a few years ago, and waking up in so much pain. With the breast augmentation I was just so surprised how different it was. Being put to sleep wasn’t as nerve wrecking for me as it was the waking up in pain part, but luckily I woke up with no pain and didn’t feel anything until the next morning. You got this though!! I’m excited for you, you won’t regret it! Those 11 days will come fast and I wish you the best of luck!!
