I consulted with a different surgeon in Calgary and meet with him a couple times. He assured me he could help me with my animation deformity in the right breast (tethering around the areola, making for bad animation deformity whenever I move my arms).
Also had a breast lift and areola reduction as my breast tissue was making up the bottom of my breast and not the implant. Dr Perron told me in my consult (1st surgery) I didn't need a lift... he was wrong. He also said alot of other things that were inaccurate. Anyway, I'm going to post a review on my Lift and animation deformity correction done by the other surgeon.

I've been to see Dr Perron a couple times since my revision in Aug 2020. Right from the start of the revision surgery, the right breast around the areola was pulling inward and I had a worse animation deformity than the 1st time around.
The first couple of times I saw Dr Perron, he told me it was "an easy fix" .. he could freeze the area and cut the scar tissue out (to get trid of the pulling inward around the areola when I lift my arm above my head) He said the scar tissue was adhering to the old scar tissue. No big deal.. he said "we won't leave you like this" and for me to come back in March.
I was there today and literally he was singing a different tune. My breast was still the same and this time he said there wasn't really anything they could do. That I'd have to wait a year or two before trying to fix it.
When I reminded him of what he said before about just cutting the scar tissue out .... that wasn't an option any more. Maybe some cortisone shots later in the summer to MAYBE soften the scar tissue up and that he doesn't know of any surgeon who could fix my problem.
Amy "problem" being he didn't remove the old scr tissue when he did the revision and the new scar tissue adhered to it and now it's my problem apparently.
I realized today that he was completely bullshitting me the last couple of times I was there to see him .... or he's bullshitting me now. Either way it was clear he could care less about my breast looking deformed... so much for "we won't leave you like this".
I feel sick to my stomach not listening to the reviews of others who have had similar experiences with Dr Perron. $13,500 for deformed breasts. Hard and expensive lesson to learn.
He completely wasted my time and mislead me. Once they get your money, they got no time for you or your concerns.
complete disappointment.

I got animation too and just had them removed. Tired of saving and spending money on these surgeries. The first breast augmentation only leads to other augmentions later. It looks like the doctor created your pocket too high up & you needed a breast lift & didn’t get one. Is that what happened here. Sorry you’re having to go through this. Terrible we get cosmetic surgery to improve aesthetics and then when things go wrong it cost us $$ to repair a doctors error that you picked out (instead crying face emoji here)
But what can we do. Pick ourselves up save and prepare for another revision/surgery.
March 16, 2021
That’s so awful! I’m so sorry you spent all that money and didn’t get what you wanted :(

Yes 7,000 for implants and 12,000 to explant and lift! But I’m glad they’re out now. My natural little boobies look great! I wish I would’ve appreciated them prior to getting implants.

I'm sorry. Sounds like my first surgeon (almost exactly). And YES, they can be fixed. Of course a lot more money and recovery etc etc.... My botched boobs cost $10,000 plus,
2nd revision by different Dr. was $17,100!!!! And that's not including all the travel/expense for consults etc etc.. so it was a few G's more with that. My boobs are beautiful now (and pretty much pain free, which I had prior). Dr. Don Revis in Ft Lauderdale FL fixed them.
Hugs, I wish you the best. It's absolutely heart wrenching.

That's such a hard thing to go through. Have you found another doctor in Calgary to help you?

Been wearing the band & my support bra still. Bruising (hematoma) in right breast is slowly clearing up & swelling has come down a bit but it is still flat underneath and sucked in looking around the areola incision site. It feels very hard around the incision site. I've sent an email with photos to my PS last week but haven't heard anything back. I have another follow up appt this Friday.

It looks like an adhesion. I had one after my first revision...

How did you fix it?
did you require another surgery or with time it resolved itself?
September 16, 2020
Yes, it required another surgery.
My first surgeon botched me. He claimed my right breast didn't drop (they were both a mess), and he could fix it local. Against my better judgement and gut feeling, instead of starting over with a new surgeon because everyone says give your original surgeon a chance to fix issue(s), I did it at 6 mo post op. I had a lollipop mastopexy and implants. He went in through the vertical to 'drop' it. I looked exactly the same mess but healed even worse. The vertical incision adhered to my muscle causing a dent and SEVERE flex deformity.
I re-did the whole thing with a different surgeon last Jan (2020).

Fix it *under local*
And, I'd never do that again either!

I sincerely hope I do not need another surgery to have this fixed!
I still haven't heard back from my PS office since emailing them last week, but i have a follow up appt tomorrow.
I'm trying to not get discouraged or frustrated but I keep coming back to ... how can a basic breast augmentation have turned into 2 surgeries (possibly 3! if this doesn't fix itself)

I'm sorry to hear of your experience but glad you got to redo it eventually.
shit isn't cheap
October 27, 2020
I completely agree. My original surgery (lift/implants) was not a difficult case what so ever. I see so many on here who started so much worse and got fabulous results. BUT, you can't put the toothpaste back in the tube. So, I was botched... on to fixing it best I could. I totally understand (as do many others in the same position) I personally tapped out and moved on.
Shit isn't cheap at ALL. First surgery $10,000. Revision from same surgeon didn't cost me more than a flight, recovery again, scar tissue and worse results. 3rd revision with another surgeon???? $17,100 and that doesn't include all the travel, hotels, flying coast to coast getting consults with revision specialist etc..... and, recovering physically all over again.
Not what I thought I was signing up for after wanting this my whole life.
This is JMO.... I'd move on to another surgeon if you are not happy.

How is your healing going?
October 26, 2020
What did Dr P charge for the revision? He never released my pole construction and I have thought of going back but not sure if I should go elsewhere.
