A late update

I have gotten so lazy with updates because nothing seems to be changing until I looked at my progress so far!
My boobs have certainly settled and dropped more. Here are my collective thoughts/experiences for the past few weeks:
1. Rippling
About a month ago I felt a little rippling in the cleavage area, which was not very visible but I was afraid that it would get worse so I brought it up to Dr Chia. Sadly it is inevitable as I did not have enough ‘cushion’ between the implant and my skin. She noted that pre-surgery, my ribs could be seen really well even with my muscle covering it.
The rippling has however, surprisingly went away for some reason and I don’t feel it anymore. Maybe because I gained some weight(;
2. Tight muscle
Also brought up in my appointment, on the outer area of my right breast, there is a slight dent due to a section of muscle that is too tight and not letting the implant fall into shape. I’ve attached a photo showing the dent, it’s at the bottom right of my breast, which is at the bottom left of the photo. Dr Chia told me to massage the area to loosen up the muscle. So far it’s getting a little less ‘hard’ and I think it’s loosening up more each day. Yay! I was so worried that it’d be permanent!
3. Uneven dropping
Previously, Dr Chia has noted that one of my breasts(the right one) was dropping faster than the left one. So I was advised to wear the straps on my right side tighter.
I don’t know if it’s because the bra that I was wearing was not tight enough(the band size was not right for me). But my right breast continued to drop and now the scar is not at the crease, it’s slightly higher up on the boob itself. I highlighted that to Dr Chia and she said I could wear something that would push my boobs together more to push it back up. She also said that there are some patients who actually prefers the scar to not be on the crease as it could be visible when wearing bikinis, which is something that I’ve never thought of. I also realized that my boobs are a little more far apart than I would like. I feel like it would look nicer if it’s closer as I do not have any fat whatsoever in the middle, making it look more fake.
So knowing that I can slightly move my implants to a more ideal position, I’m going to wear my surgical bra to sleep as much as I can(I’ve been a little lazy) and search for bras with a little push up effect to wear in the day.
4. Bra size
I have been wearing a 32C bra which was fine but the band does not fit super snug. I bought a 30D bra(sister size of 32C) from M&S and the band for perfectly but the cup was too small(attached picture of nude lace bra). So I decided to size up to 30DD(sister size of 32D). I ordered 3 more bras from M&S in 30DD and while waiting for it to arrive in sg from UK, I went to La Senza to try out a 32D bra just to see if the cup would be too big(light pink bra). Who would’ve guessed, it fits perfect! I’m a 32D! The band was still a little loose so I was not comfortable purchasing it just to wear while waiting for my 30DD bras to arrive.
So that’s all for my update for now!

Almost 2 months post op

Went for my 1 month check up only 2 weeks ago due to scheduling difficulties.
Got the OK to wear any bra that i want, including push up bras. But bra shopping hasn’t been that enjoyable for me due to my small frame. My underbust measurement is about 60-63cm which is too small for the smallest band size (32) and band size 30 bras are really rare. I got measured at another shop and 32C again. 32C’s sister size is 30D so i guess that’s a more accurate sizing for me.
Dr Chia told me at the appt that my left breast is dropping a little slower than my right and that I should wear my bra tighter on the left and looser on the right. I also noticed that the left has a line on top of the bust which makes it kind of obvious that I got my boobs done.
I feel like the incision is at the perfect placement for my left, and on the right it’s not really at my crease but a little higher(on the boob itself) but it’s ok as it’s still concealed. It’s currently a light pink/red shade instead of black. The black turned out to be a scab that came out together with my silicone tape.
I don’t feel the implant anymore and i can carry anything I want without discomfort.
I’m having a new problem now which is that my boobs look real weird in demi bras, refer to the picture attached. The circumference of the boob itself is really large for my frame(and for demi bras) and i’m wondering if that will go away with dropping and fluffing. Some clothes look very weird on me too(eg something like the reformation juliette dress) and i’m not sure if it’s due to my boobs being far apart from each other, or that they are still sitting high, or that they are just too big for me(i don’t feel that they are though). I guess only time will tell!
PS i know that my boobs look really asymmetrical in the photo but in real life it looks better

Day 21 - 3 weeks post op

Just thought I’d drop a quick update at the three week mark. My next post op appointment is on 22nd of May.
So far I have changed my scar tape once, a week after my first post op as instructed by Dr Chia.
‘Morning boob’ is gone and I can lie on my sides for short periods of time now. Few days back I woke up on my side and the feeling I got when I woke up was intense!! Would not recommend to sleep on your sides at the two week mark.
Went to La Senza to get measured the other day and was told that I am a 32C which is odd because most 32 band bras fit quite loose on me. Maybe it was because they don’t have 30 band bras? Tried a lightly padded 32C bra on the tightest hook and it fits perfectly. I’m a C! Yay! Didn’t purchase the bra though because i’m afraid it would not fit as well after more dropping and fluffing.
Silicon nipple covers have been added to the list of things that I can’t live without because my nipples are super sensitive and ‘protruding’ all the time. Got mine on shopee for about $1.50 per pair, reusable. Tried the paper kind that are disposable but those leave my skin quite red and irritated after a whole day of wearing.
I feel that my breasts have moved closer by a tiny bit too as the middle part of the black lace bra used fo sit flush on my sternum but now it’s a little lifted because of my breasts. That’s great news as they were a little too far apart than I wanted. I would like for them to move a little closer because I feel like it’s impossible to push them together to get a nice cleavage now.
All in all I feel like my recovery journey has been super easy. My incisions don’t hurt at all, not even in the beginning. All I had was soreness and discomfort in the first week or two. I measured my scars the other day and they are about 3cm! Can’t wait for them to heal and fade as they still look quite scary to me now.
I am feeling a lot more confident as I don’t have to worry about my top falling into the gaps in my bra because I could never fill a bra out completely. Some of the people that I have met have realized a little difference and I am glad that it’s not too small, and not too big to a point where it’s immediately recognizable that I had something done. I look about the same in an oversized t shirt but you can definitely see some difference when i’m wearing something more fitting.
I haven’t worn anything that is revealing because the overall shape is still quite unnatural imo. I am so excited for the drop and fluff!
