10 month update - happy with results!
Wanted to post an update after 10 months post op. My implants settled into place nicely and I am happy with the results. I will say they do fall a bit to my sides when I lay down so I actually sleep in a sports bra. Overall I’m happy with my decision and I think they look pretty natural
Different lighting, trying to be more optimistic
I realize I have been incredibly pessimistic since my procedure as the results aren’t what I had envisioned. I think I need to relax and remember I’m SUPER early on and to be happy I haven’t had any actual complications as many people do have. I think this experience has taught me to be kinder to myself. I actually think I went through a mini version of grief mourning the idea of a perfect body that my surgeon wasn’t able to give me. I’m sure many other people have gone through something similar I am just shocked that this procedure was capable of sending me into such a spiral…I’m usually a pretty level person. Chalk it up to society placing too much weight in women’s appearances or maybe that’s just me IDK. After a week of loathing, I tried to take some more photos in different lighting that I think looks a little better. Maybe I need to do a boudoir shoot or something so I will start to appreciate my new body before I jump into a revision. I think this website is starting to turn into a personal diary…. I hope someone out there finds this helpful or maybe makes them feel less alone through this process as it’s quite the rollercoaster
Parting of the Red Sea? Sid the sloth…?
So the swelling is coming down and the gap is looking noticeable as ever. So ironic considering one of my biggest concerns I spoke to my PS about during my consultation was that I didn’t want them to be far apart. Maybe I had some bad karma coming my way that’s the only explanation.
