I have finally gotten my husband on board and scheduled my breast augmentation . I wouldn't normally share this type of review but this website has helped me out tremendously. And I hope my journey can help someone else. My surgery is scheduled with Dr. Grosso in Montana. Surgery date is Feb 9. I am so excited but also very nervous. I have never had any kind of surgery before. I am going back in on Monday the 18th to try on more sizes. I'm thinking of 350 -400 ccs and pretty sure I'm wanting moderate profile.
Dr grosso reccomended I do above the muscle implants and it seems that a majority of my research showed people going under the muscle. So I was hesitant at first, but upon more research I think I'm confident in this area. Im a mom of three and breast fed all of them and because of that I have thin breast tissue. So I will be going with a more expensive implant (I can't remember what it is) . But if you have had over the muscle implants I'm very interested in seeing our results and hearing how well they have aged. I'll post more pictures after Monday.
There are not very many choices for surgery centers in the Montana area. I'm a stay at home mom and my husband can't take a lot of time off of work so it made the most sense for us to do it locally. My consultation went great and the nurse I had was very friendly. They were patient with me and answered all of my questions. The building is extremely clean and I'm confident that I will be well taken care of during my procedure.

I have similar breasts to yours, and have also had and breastfed 3 children. I have a consult on the 27th and I too, assumed I would get under the muscle implants. Waiting to see what he suggests. Nervous, just about a consult! Are you going with silicone or saline?

I'm going with silicone!!

Mine are very similar to yours now. Mine got enormous (comparatively speaking) when I was breastfeeding and then shrunk up quite a but post.

Congratulations! I have my consultation with Dr Muskett on February 15th! It took me forever to get hubs on board. I'm 34, have two kids and breastfed them both. I'm excited to follow your journey, as I'm sure mine will be similar. Good luck, fellow MTer!

Very exciting to hear from someone else locally! I hope your consult goes well! I rely loved the nurse and I'm going in for a second time just to try on sizes again. They're so accommodating, it yes me forever to make a decision. I wish there were more reviews for our local surgeon! My friend tells me that they are both amazing but So I'll share how mine goes. And pull have to let me know for you as well!!

Hi! I'm also 30, breast fed 3 children, and my breasts looked nearly identical to yours before my surgery! I'm 4'11" and about 105lbs, so because I'm pretty small my doctor recommended (and used) 340cc's even when I had hoped for 400-450. So be understanding that when you get into surgery, he may choose to go a bit smaller since you are also tiny. It was SO WORTH IT though. The recovery was a bit of a struggle with 3 kids, but if you have an older child, you should be just fine when your husband goes back to work. I was abe to drive by day 4-5, and I took very few painkillers due to allergies- that being said- stay on top of your painkiller schedule to avoid super painful moments! Being down and out is so hard when you have kids. Also take stool softners, trust me. A bit of a ramble but your situation sounds so similar to mine- I'm sure things will go amazing for you!

This is super helpful!! Thank you, yes I'm nervous about recovery with kids. Will I be in bed for the first couple days or do you think I'll be able to get up and move round?

If you don't mind me asking, where did you get yours done? (I'm in Southern Davis County). Mine also look very similar to Mountainliving's after my third finished breastfeeding and everything shrunk up a bit. I don't think I look bad, I'd just like to look more like I did before.

I got mine from Dr Crofts @ Aesthetica- the surgery center is in North Provo, and his office is in Lindon. I'll be posting a full review soon- but it was very much worth it. I did extensive research on all the doctors from Salt Lake to Utah County and I am extremely happy I decided on Crofts.

My consultation is tomorrow and I'm so antsy to get through this whole process.

I played around with some rice sizers today and honestly I think I'm leaning towards 400cc. I know it's not 100% accurate but they have to be close. I'll attach a couple picks of what it looks like with about 375cc of rice sizers.

I think once I talk to the nurse again and see the differences in the office I'll be able to confirm. I have a friend who keeps telling me that 350 is HUGE and it makes me second guess going bigger. But when I see these testers in I feel like I could even go past 400. I just don't want to regret it either way.

In my first consultation I tried in several high profile implants but I do think now I'm leaning towards moderate profile. I like the idea of having them be wide at the base on my torso. I really want to start ordering bra but I know that's stupid to do before. But what surgical bra are you all recommending ??

I just had 400cc 6 days ago. The rice sizer method is very accurate. I found my implants are very close to the size the rice sizes I made were.

Hi what size did you get and is that high profile or moderate and what brand? Thanks

Had my second consultation surgery is 21 days away

I went in for my second time to ask some more questions and try on sizes again. I guess my breast width is 10-11 centimeters so so my of the sizes I was imagining aren't really in my "realm of choices". I really wanted moderates but I would have had to stay below 300cc and I really have my heart set on bigger.
So we tried in some High profiles , I have a picture of what I'd be happy with. But even this size is "too big" for my dimensions. The nurse said that the doctor will try What he can and there is a possibility they will fit , but also a possibility they won't so I'm feeling a little disappointed. :( but here I think I have 360 HP.
Anyone else have any experience wanting to go bigger but not being able to?

I'm so excited for you!! Muskett's office called and offered me a sooner consultation, like next day, but since we live in Clancy now, it's 4 hours away, and there was zero chance of making the appointment. I'm still booked for my consult on 2/15. I want to go as if as I can, 34DD at lest. I want that perfect hourglass, and I'm sort of on the hippy side. I look forward to your updates!!!

I'm trying to decide on sizes too. I'm fairly similar frame to you I think - 5'6" and 134lbs. Can you recommend any sources on breast width and implant size? I'm scheduled for 27 Feb so I'll be following your updates with interest. Good luck!
January 26, 2021
Yes!! I listened to their recommendations and just went with it and so glad I did. Exact situation. I ended up with 280cc in my left and 300cc in my right, definitely go ultra high profile because it makes them look bigger but not too wide. I love mine, I’m 6 weeks post op now. After breastfeeding three babies mine looked very similar. Now I’m a 32c and they’re the perfect size for my frame. I’m 27 y/o 5’3” and 110lbs.

I'm following along with some posts to see people's before and afters because I have a consult this week. Do you care to share your before and afters?
January 28, 2021
Did you get the chance to ask them about going over the muscle again? I’m curious what you found out or have decided?

I've just had another consultation in a somewhat similar situation. My BWD is 12cm, currently 34B bra, but my boobs look similar to yours, athletic build. Surgeon feels 375cc high profile is the largest likely to get a good result due to the thinness of my breast tissue higher up. He was suggesting 355cc but today I tried on the 375cc sizers too and preferred them. The impression I get from other reviews on this site is, certainly slim and petite women do often go larger, but it depends what end result you want and whether you are worried about them looking "done".
