But shy of 2 weeks
WORTH IT$8,000
It’s almost two weeks! I’m doing great! I still have super sensitivity, which I’ve read is due to the nerves regenerating. It’s nothing too bad, but is annoying! I’m pretty much back to my normal routine, just not doing any heavy lifting! I’m really happy that I went through with the surgery. Last week, I had started questioning whether this was the stupidest thing I’d ever done or not! But now that I feel good, and that my breasts have finally started to soften up a bit and round out at the bottom a bit more, I’ve started to become really happy! It’s so fun having boobs. I love that I can wear just a thin bralette and actually have nice kind boobs! I never had that before. I always had bras with loads of padding. And I’m very happy with the size. I didn’t want anything big, just something! Tomorrow I’ll start using the silicone scar treatment (I’m using the Scar-Away for now because I want that bandaid barrier on between scars and bras.. but I will likely switch to the silicone gel a little later on!). I also get to start my breast massages to help soften them up and I get to start sleeping on my side again!

Surgery Done!
I had my surgery 2 weeks ago. Everything went perfect! I want to go through abut of my recovery for anyone that wants to read this. I’ll go through the first week now and then add an update for week two. I found a lot of helpful information from others reviews and updates so hopefully this can help others!
Day of surgery: I went to the Boston Center at 6:30am and was immediately greeted, got in my gown and socks, had vitals taken, etc. Then I had a chance to speak with the anestheologist and ask questions about that piece. After that, the Plastic surgeon came in and marked me up. I was taken into the surgical room and got hooked up to the IV and then I was out. I don’t really remember much about waking up, but remember bits and pieces after hearing about it from my mom and cousin (the people that brought me to my surgery and home). We had about an hour dive home, and I was resting on the couch by 11am! I didn’t feel much of anything other than tightness/heaviness in my chest. I did take one Oxycodone, because everyone insisted I stay ahead of the pain. I regret taking it though. I got so sick and vomited a couple times. Needless to say, I threw the remaining pain meds away and stuck with only the extra strength Tylenol!
Day two and three were pretty much the same. The pain wasn’t too bad.. mostly just uncomfortable and I didn’t do too much moving around. I struggled with the antibiotic making me feel queasy, but the Zofran helped with that. I also kept getting the absolute worst heartburn ever.. and I still don’t really know what that was from.. it subsided around day 5 and I just kept popping tums!
Day four was a huge difference from the previous day. I woke up feeling really good considering I had just had surgery!
I had taken my first shower the day after surgery. It felt so weird taking my surgical bra off. They were so swollen, super tight and pointy with very little under boob! I took my bandages off on day 5 ( though I was told I cold have on day 3). It made me super queasy, but then felt good having them off. The skin was stretching so the bandages were getting really tight- it was a relief when they were off!
I had my first follow up on day 6. The plastic surgeon said everything looked great, no sign of infection and the incisions were healing well!

Changed my size! Pre-op in two weeks!!
I had my cosmetic re-discuss the other day and happy I did so! I was starting to get a little unsure of the size I chose at my initial consult.. probably because I’ve been doing so much research on RealSelf! I got to try on sizes again and pretty much discovered that the size I originally decided on was in fact still about what I wanted. The only issue hat came up was that my BWD is 11.5, which matched the 355cc implants I chose. Since I don’t want my implants touching, creating unnatural cleavage, the PS and I decided to go own 20cc so my implants will have a little more room. Only 3.5 weeks until surgery!!!

How did everything go? I hope your recovery is going smoothly and you got the results that you wanted!
I keep meaning to add to my post for my surgery and post op recovery! Everything went perfectly and so far very happy with my results! I’ll try to get an update with some pictures posted soon!
Glad to hear your recovery is going so well! Your results look great so far. I’m having surgery with Dr. Guenther on March 30th so this is very encouraging to read! :)
Dr. Guenther is amazing! I’m so impressed with his work. My scars are so minimal compared to others I’ve seen on this site. I was fairly uneven in size before, and he managed to make them look the same all while using the same size implant! If you have any questions or concerns at all, I’m happy to go into more detail and such! I go back to see Dr Guenther on March 19th for my 6 week post op! Best of luck to you!!
