So I had my follow up appointment yesterday from my bleeding and everything has healed back up!!! Yea, I was so nervous but he says the extra support from the steristrips and rest helped a lot. I have the all clear to get back to massaging, applying scar cream and sleeping in my bed!!!
Currently 3 weeks out from surgery. Next appointment will be a little over 6 weeks from surgery to take pictures!!!

Overall rating

Dr. Robbins was a pleasure to me and his supportive staff! The office is top of the line and very accommodating. I had don't a lot of research on the procedure, techniques, sizes, implant options and the details of each, and I had a pretty well planned out idea of what I am wanting. He did a great job of explaining and answering my questions. I was very impressed based off our first initial conversation (clothes on) about life style goals and daily life he already had an idea of what he thought would be best. We then went into the actually exam of measuring and pictures and he was spot on the range 345-405cc SRM Naturelle Silicone. His bedside manner was very professional and charismatic. He didn't even suggest anything out of the scope that I wanted to achieve, he listened to me and made sure through out the appointment I had my questions answered. I don't want to leave out his wonderful nursing staff who make you feel very comfortable from the moment you walk in the door! Thank you!

Updates...

Well it’s been a while and a few things have happened. I rested like I was ordered to do and for some weird reason my left boob decided it wanted to flare up. It has always been the more tight/hard boob to begin with but one morning I woke up and I was bleeding from my incision. I called Dr. Robbin 6 am on vacation (sorry) and he was super sweet. He said he wasn’t quite sure but I needed to get to the clinic when it opened. I placed bandages on it went to work.
Went to clinic and it looks like I had a hematoma that was finding its way out from with a weak spot from inner stitch. More than likely the reason why I was so hard/tight. They saw no apparent hole so they steri stripped the whole incision up and I have an appointment with him this Thursday.
So to top every thing off I strained my right top part of my pec muscle and now have a lovely bruise....

I have been order to stop all massages until I see Dr. Robbins!

Beauty is pain :)

Back home resting

Why hello hello!!! I had my post op appointment today and it didn’t go as I had planned.
I went back to work ( tues) thinking that my desk job didn’t really require a lot out of me I was wrong. I had a hard time breathing (just like taking a good deep breath) all through out the day. I was very exhausted by 10 am. Well and I was only taking 600mg of ibuprofen which wasn’t cutting it. I went home by noon took pain meds and sleeping like a baby. Wednesday was a little better and I was able to stay at work till 4:30 because I didn’t want to drive through rush hour. I was sleeping by 7:30pm out for the night.
Today, my nurses eyes told me that something wasn’t quite right when she took a look today. I was nervous. She said I am riding way to high and should have dropped some since surgery. Dr. Robbins came in and was very serious about my swelling and said there is “some” swelling after surgery then there is extreme swelling. That is where I am at. My sternum swelling is a concern because it is effecting my breathing. He ordered me to go straight home, pain meds, ice for sure and pretty much “bed rest.”
He said just because of how small I am in diameter and the size 485cc we went with the swelling can happen but my body needs complete rest.
The nurse clipped the 2 stitches and went though the massaging techniques and ordered me the scar cream!
Happy healing! Beauty is pain for a little while :)

To help with the sternal swelling that I had, I used my thumb to "massage" between my implants, just pressed my thumb up and down my sternum. It's uncomfortable but it seemed to help quite a bit.
Thank you! I tried it and yes uncomfortable but it worked!!!!
Wow! That's crazy! How are you doing now? Hoping all is healing well:)
