3 week update!!!

Ok so yesterday was my three week date since surgery! I got to take off my medical bandaids and can now begin my scar treatment. I will post photos of my breasts 3 weeks post op and also my scar reveal! I will also say my right breast is dropping and fluffing fast then my left which has a larger implant in it. Dr. Hayes mentioned that any uneven appearance for the first six months is super normal as they will heal in their own time. My scar treatment I’m doing is based on my own esthetic professional knowledge and scientific research that I’ve had a chance to study. I am using a high raspberry seed oil which is high in antioxidants and omegas. I mix a drop of oil with a drop of onion bulb extract. Glide that over my scar and then apply xeragel which you can find on Amazon it’s a 100% silicone gel. I then place a silicone patch over the area as well. Silicone has been clinically proven to help the healing of scars in their early stages by retaining moisture and acting as a second barrier. Onion extract used in combination with silicone reduces your chances of hypertrophic scaring. Hypertrophic scaring is where the scar heals raised due to an imbalance of collagen. I added the raspberry oil to decrease the potency of the onion bulb extract plus antioxidants fight free radicals and omegas are great for hydration and antinflammatory. I hope this helps everyone!

Two weeks post op

Still having some nerve repair symptoms on my right side but overall some days I forget I just had surgery. Although I’m still adhering to all my home care and restrictions. They are starting to feel softer everyday which is nice!

One week post op

I’ve had my one week post op appointment with Dr. Hayes and he reassured me that the bloating and constipation is very normal after surgery but not everyone experiences it. He assured me it’ll go away on its own with time and patience. We talked about my restrictions moving forward for activity. Which gentle sexual activity has been approved if anyone is curious when that resumes. I need to wait 3 more weeks for most physical activities and save running and hard core workouts for after the 6 week mark. Dr. Hayes explained that it’s mostly due to having an internal bra to help support my implants and the quicker I’m active the more I could jeopardize the internal bra to fail. I’m all about longevity. This BA was definitely an investment and I want my best results so I don’t mind putting some things on hold for it. We changed out my first bandaids for smaller ones that I will wear for two more weeks then I can begin my own scar treatment regimen. Which I will more than likely just use silicone strips and a silicone product I developed this last year at my work for under mask wear. But will also help my scars heal. Everyday my breasts are looking better and better. The last three days I did develop more interrupted nerve sensations which is a super uncomfortable feeling however doctor assured me this will fade with time and around the two week mark should be pretty good. He gave me some lotion techniques to help my mind connect with my nerves and speed healing. I also only had one small bruise under my right breast. It’s amazing!
