Hi all! Like many of you I've been lurking on here for a very long time. Finally saved up the money for a BA and had it done yesterday!

Pre-op I was a 34A, more like AA. I'm looking to become a natural looking C.

My PS recommended moderate profile (I have pretty broad shoulders), with 255cc on the left and 300cc on the right to correct some minor asymmetry. He also used the "dual plane technique". Was this done for any of you?

Still feeling super sore and tight. Haven't even removed the ace bandage yet and I still have markings all over me! Anxious to get a good look at the new girls but I'm waiting until my first shower.

Will keep everyone updated!

Did you get the moderate plus profile or the new moderate plus xtra? Do you remember your BWD?

Slept just fine the first night! Have been using ice packs for about an hour at a time. I was told it was okay to keep them on that long if they weren't directly on my skin. They definitely help! Have also been taking my pain meds every 4 hours on the dot.
My right is definitely hurting more than the left. Wondering if that's because its the bigger implant.
I finally showered today and got to see them in all their glory! It was a real PITA to get all the market and betadine off. There's still some down by my incision but I figure it'll come off eventually... didn't want to scrub too hard in that area.
Loving the way they look already! Can get for the d&f :)

Hi! How are you feeling now? I was also recommended 255/300 cc implants (but high profile), so im really looking forward to watching your transformation photos :)

Hi! Feeling pretty good! The right one (300cc) is hurting more for sure. I've been trying to take it easy. It hurts a lot when I try to sit up from laying - I think I've been subconsciously using my breast muscles when doing it. So I'm trying to stay more stationary now. I was nervous about getting the moderate profile (vs moderate plus or high) because I didn't want them to look like flat pancakes, and my doc said about 95% of girls go with MP. With my shoulders being so broad, though, he assured me the moderate would look best. What kind of look are you going for? Do you have a date yet? Good luck!

Healing up nicely! Still taking my pain meds as I've been having some pretty bad shooting pains just on the right side. The left feels like it may be dropping already! Loving them so far.

What was the procedure once you arrived to his office on surgery day? I am between him and another Doctor in Marietta

sorry I'm just seeing this! I had to wait a bit before they brought me back, but ultimately I got changed, left all my belongings in a locker. the nurse then brought me to take a few more "before" pictures. Then, I was brought into the OR where the anesthetist placed my IV and that's the last I remember. Haha. my fiancé was there to drive me home. I already had all my prescriptions filled and ready.

Wow, it seems the surgery part is a breeze but the aftermath is the real journey. I feel like I chose a bad time to go on consults "tax sseason"..but I just got back from a deployment and really wanted to do something for myself. Dr. Colgrove is super booked! I cant get in with him till Apr for a consult. How are you feeling now? WHat size are you now? I went on another consult with Dr. Okoro in Marietta, love the practice but surgery wouldn't be until May 14. PS suggested 425 HP dual plane since I don't need a lift and lost volume in upper breast after kids.

wow that's crazy! I was able to get in basically 2 weeks from when I called, and the whole month of December was open as far as scheduling a surgery date. I also went to a consult st the Swan Center. while they were very nice, I realized after the fact that we hadn't even talked about profiles. I was too nervous/excited and had forgotten until after the fact, dumb me, but I think its such a huge part of the decision and the fact it was completely left out was concerning

I'm either a 36B or 34C now. honestly wish I went slightly bigger but that's definitely a trend with anyone who gets them! haha. as far as activity, I'm back to doing everything I did before. I'm into yoga and running. running was painful at first, as in I was sore the next day from the bouncing. but that was only about 6 weeks after surgery. I'm 3 months out now and have no issues!

I was considering the swan center but I feel they were overpriced. the surgery time is set for 1230. I wish it was earlier..feels like torture waiting for 2 months. Your breast really do look very very natural! My PS suggested 425 HP silicone/under. Im worried about running again...I do so much running in the military. IS there anything that you suggest be purchased before my BA?
March 10, 2018
thank you! I'm sure with the right support you'll be fine with running :) I would say the ice packs helped a TON. they were a must. I bought cheap extra pillows for sleeping upright too. and, straws! haha it seems silly but I honestly couldn't even lift a cup the first few days
